Famous Christian, Preacher, Alleged Adulterer Wistfully Wishes that Young People Today Could See the Beauty and Integrity of Marriage – oh the LULZ!
Did you know that chastity is not for un-married people only?
As shocking as this may be to some of you, the Bible says God still demands that married people practice sexual purity. Being married does not give one a license to start getting nooky anywhere and everywhere, but a lot of married Christians seem to think that chastity and sexual purity is for singles only.
I watched James Bakker’s (Jim Baker) show today. He is a Christian guy who used to be a preacher and had a big TV show back in the 1980s.
Preacher David Jeremiah was Bakker’s guest today, and as they were talking about Jeremiah’s coverage of the Song of Songs in his new study Bible, James Bakker made some comments about marriage.
Bakker lamented that young people today don’t esteem marriage enough.
This is coming from a guy who apparently, according to some news sources, got caught having an affair on his wife back in the 1980s, and it was quite the scandal, all over the news at the time.
I find it terribly funny that a guy who may have had an affair on his wife is saying how awful it is that today’s youth don’t see the “beauty and integrity” in marriage. LOL! 😆
You know, I think one reason of many I still remain single at my age, despite wanting marriage, is that I take marriage a hella lot more seriously than married people do. Isn’t it ironic?

…A $279,000 payoff for the silence of Jessica Hahn, a staff secretary at the church, was paid with PTL’s funds to Hahn through Bakker associate Roe Messner, who later married Tammy Fay Bakker.[6]
Bakker, who apparently made all of the financial decisions for the PTL organization, allegedly kept two sets of books to conceal the accounting irregularities.

Bakker acknowledges he met Hahn at a hotel room in Clearwater, Florida, but denies raping her.
Jim and Tammy Bakker were divorced on March 13, 1992. On November 16, 1992, a sentence reduction hearing was held and Bakker’s sentence was reduced to eight years.[4]:104
