Boy, 3, dies after being beaten, ‘systematically tortured’ while hung from feet by his mother and her married boyfriend

Wow, Christians, just look at how marriage and parenthood made this man and woman so loving, giving, godly and mature!

They tied up the woman’s three year old boy, beat on him with rods, then hung him by his feet, and beat him some more, to death.

Just look at how motherhood is woman’s only or most godly calling in life!

It’s just so clear that without being a wife and mommy, a woman would run around with no maturity, morality, or empathy and she would do things like – well, hang a toddler by his feet and beat him to death.

I need to find me a man pronto, marry, and pop out a kid so I don’t turn into a toddler abuser and killer. Oh wait. Having a child didn’t halt this woman from killing her own son.

(According to other news reports, the man in this story who beat the boy is married to a different woman. See how a man being married matures him, makes him so loving and compassionate?)

This first story also says they beat this boy and another one of her sons prior to this, on several occasions, and LAUGHED while doing so.

See? Parents and married people find torturing children AMUSING. It’s entertaining. It’s downright HI-LAR-I-OUS.  I was going to watch some funny movies on the Comedy Channel tonight, but maybe I should find a toddler to abuse instead?

The adults in this story said they beat the kid to death because he refused to eat breakfast earlier in the day – see how marriage and parenthood makes people so loving, intelligent, reasonable, and rational?

Why there is nothing the least bit odd or too strict about beating someone to death for skipping a meal, am I right, evangelicals?

At least two articles say that the mother and boyfriend had sex while the boy was lying on the floor in the process of dying. They also bought pizza and went car shopping, too. Priorities, people! Getting laid is obviously more important than getting medical care for a dying kid.

  • WEST CALN TOWNSHIP, Pa. – They hung a 3-year-old boy up by his feet, beat him and duct taped him to a chair.
  • In the end, police say the three days of abuse were enough to kill 3-year-old Scott McMillan.
  • According to WPVI, Gary Fellenbaum and Jillian Tait– the boy’s mother– were arrested Thursday in connection with the boy’s death. Medical crews found the boy with bruises, cuts and puncture wounds across his body. Fellenbaum is Tait’s boyfriend.
  • He was beaten with weapons like a whip, a curtain rod and a strip of aluminum, investigators said. They called it the worst case of abuse they’ve ever seen.

The motive? Investigators said it started Tuesday after the boy wouldn’t eat breakfast.

  • Said Chest County District Attorney Tom Hogan:

”Little Scotty McMillan is dead. Over a three day period … he was systematically tortured and beaten to death. He was punched in the face and in the stomach. He was scourged with a homemade whip. He was lashed with a metal rod. He was tied to a chair and beaten. He was tied upside down by his feet and beaten. His head was smashed through a wall.”

Tait told police that Fellenbaum often beat her 6- and 3-year-old boys. One time, she said he strung them up by their feet and beat them while the both of them laughed. The 6-year-old is with relatives.

Both were charged with murder. Prosecutors plan to seek the death penalty.

  • Authorities say a Pennsylvania couple struck a 3-year-old boy with a frying pan, laughed as they hung him upside down and beat him, and eventually inflicted so many injuries that he died in what a prosecutor described as an “unspeakable act of depravity.”
  • Jillian Tait, 31, and Gary Lee Fellenbaum, 23, were charged Thursday with murder in the death of Tait’s son, Scott McMillan, and aggravated assault in the beating of his older brother.
  • Tait and Fellenbaum went car shopping, bought pizza and engaged in sexual activity as the boy lay dying Tuesday after weeks of escalating abuse that ended in three days of systematic torture, officials said.
  • Investigators found no evidence that drugs or alcohol were involved.
  • “This is just evilness,” said Chester County District Attorney Thomas Hogan said. “It is an unspeakable act of depravity.”

  • Police say a man and his girlfriend are charged with murdering the girlfriend’s 3-year-old son in what a prosecutor described as an “unspeakable act of depravity.”.

Chester County District Attorney Tom Hogan announced the arrests of Gary Fellenbaum and Jillian Tait Thursday morning. He says Fellenbaum, his wife, and girlfriend, Tait, all lived together in a mobile home in West Caln Township and worked at a local Walmart.

On Tuesday authorities were called to their residence for the report of an unresponsive child. Responding EMTs found 3-year-old Scott McMillan suffering from bruises, lacerations and puncture wounds all over his body.

  • Police say Fellenbaum, Tait, and Fellenbaum’s wife, Amber, confessed that the little boy had been beaten with blunt and sharp objects, whipped, taped to a chair with electrical tape and beaten, hung up by his feet and beaten, leading to his death.

Authorities say they beat Scott to death using homemade weapons, like a whip, a curtain rod, a frying pan, and an aluminum strip.

Police say Tait explained that the fatal beating began when the boy wouldn’t eat his breakfast.

  • The couple met working at Wal-Mart and last month moved in together, along with Fellenbaum’s estranged wife.
  • They lived with three children — Tait’s 6- and 3-year-old sons and the Fellenbaums’ 11-month-old daughter — in a mobile home park near Coatesville, about 35 miles northwest of Philadelphia.
  • The three adults told authorities that Scott McMillan had been whipped with a metal rod, punched and hit with blunt and sharp objects, and taped to a chair and beaten, police said in affidavits.
  • The boy’s dead body was covered in bruises, lacerations and puncture wounds.
  • “During one incident,” the affidavits say, “Gary hung Scott and (his older brother) up by their feet one at a time and beat the boys while they were hanging upside down. Jillian stated that she and Gary were laughing during the incident.”
  • Hogan called the case “an American horror story.” He said late Thursday he had not yet been notified of the couple having obtained lawyers.

Fellenbaum’s 21-year-old estranged wife, Amber Fellenbaum, was charged with child endangerment for allegedly failing to help the boy. She ultimately called 911 Tuesday night, authorities said. By then, Scott had been unresponsive for hours and had been put in a shower for more than 30 minutes by his mother and her boyfriend, investigators said.

When the boy failed to awaken, they placed him on an uninflated air mattress and went shopping, authorities said. The couple returned with a pizza and, after eating, took a nap and engaged in sexual activity, according to Tait’s statement to police. Tait said she then checked on Scott and yelled for someone to call 911 because he wasn’t breathing.

Gary Fellenbaum severely beat the boy for refusing to eat toast both Monday and Tuesday morning, authorities said. The “discipline” included throwing him against a wall, knocking him off a chair with a punch and then taping him to the chair to keep him upright for more beatings, police said.
