Christians Assume All Adult Singles Are Porn Addicted Fornicating Horn Dogs

Christians Assume All Adult Singles Are Porn Addicted Fornicating Horn Dogs

Christians teach that marriage and/or parenthood are necessary to make a person godly, mature, and reponsible.

The opposite of this is that Christians teach or assume that all adult singles are perverted, porn addicted horn dogs who have sex with a million different people per week.

Christians completely ignore and overlook the Christians who are over 30, 40 and older who are still single (never married) who are virgins.

I find it very offensive that Christians act as though due to my gender and single status, that I must be a whore. (They assume all single women are harlots, please click here).

Here is a small example.

Check out the screen cap on that page (VIEW SCREEN CAP), the area under “Singles.”

Notice that several of the materials under “Singles” are for people who are fornicating or who have pornography addictions.

Here is a partial screen capture (via Museum of Idolatry site):

I do not see any materials or links with titles such as “How to maintain your virginity now that you’re over 35” or “Congrats on still being sexually pure at age 40.” Nope. No acknowledgement that some singles are still virgins or are celibate.

There is just this ASSUMPTION – by conservative Christians no less – that all adults over 30 are viewing porn and having affairs.

I tried visiting the “DeadlyViper.com” site listed under “singles” which took me to http://jimsnas.dyndns.org/, but that site is no longer there.

The XXXChurch.com site is still up and running – I find it amusing this church listed this XXX site under their “singles” heading, since it’s known that more married Christian men have porn problems (including ones who work as preachers) than single Christian men. So, shouldn’t the XXX resource be placed under “For Those Married?”

It is simply not true that all singles are having sex, whether Christian or Non-Christian.

Where is the acknowledgement of this? Where are the resources for helping singles maintain their celibacy, for telling them, “We are proud of you for not porking around all over the place”?

It’s actually very demotivating to keep running across these Christian blogs, sermon series, etc, about sex, where the only mention of singles I see is in the context of ‘We here at Acme Church assume you are fornicating.”

How do Christians expect celibate, adult singles to keep on keepin’ on when they get no support in staying celibate? It does not help me, a 40 something year old virgin, to keep seeing articles about what to do with my porn addiction when I DON’T HAVE A PORN ADDICTION.
