30 Girls Rescued From Pastor’s Sex Camp

General Overseer, Tongue of Fire Restoration Ministry, Chukwuma Nkwocha, is now in the custody of police in Lagos for allegedly camping about 30 young girls as sex slaves.
The 38-year-old Nkwocha, whose church is located at Sogunle area of Lagos metropolis, was accused of sleeping with the young girls, whose ages range from 10 to 15 years.
The state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), SP Dolapo Badmos, confirmed the arrest of the GO. The PPRO said the Commissioner of Police, Mr. Fatai Owoseni, had ordered investigation into the case. She said: “The command rescued about 30 young girls from the pastor’s custody.
Two of them acknowledged he had canal knowledge of them. However, investigation is ongoing.”
The General Overseer of Tongue of Fire Ministry, Shogunle, Lagos, Chukwuma Nkwocha, 38, who was arrested by the police for camping over 30 teenagers in his house and using them as sex slaves, has said that he only slept with one of them.
Vanguard reports that one of the girls had reported to the police after she and the pastor had a misunderstanding.
Nkwocha, an Imo state indigene, was alleged to have been sleeping with the girls who are all members of his church, with a promise to feed them and pay for their Junior and Senior Secondary School Certificate examinations.
It was also discovered that the parents of some of the girls had accommodation problems and were temporarily living in the church.
The state Commissioner of Police, Fatai Owoseni disclosed that during a raid of the Pastor’s three bedroom flat, 30 girls were rescued, as six of them confessed that the pastor had slept with them without protection.
“The girls were taken to the Lagos State University Hospital. Some of them were pregnant and aborted the pregnancies. The command will ensure that the Pastor and whoever must have conspired with him face the full wrath of the law,” Owoseni said.
DAILY POST recalls that Nkwocha, 38, was discovered to have camped and defiled kids aged 10 to 15 and he was said to have lured the girls to his house based on their lack of places to sleep.
The Lagos police team and operatives of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS, who arrested Nkwocha on 30 September, during a church service at the church premises located in Sogunle area of the state, acted on a petition that the pastor was camping and defiling girls.
Developments showed that eight more girls on Thursday spoke out, accusing Nkwocha of sleeping with them forcibly in his house.
This brought the number of the girls allegedly abused by Nkwocha to 38.
The Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Mr. Adeniji Kazeem, told newsmen that a detailed research was carried out in February in all prison facilities in Lagos on sex convicts and inmates awaiting trial for Sexual and Gender Based Violence, SGBV cases.
According to him, the campaign against sexual crime should not be left alone to the women folk.
…“The girls were taken to a private hospital to confirm the allegation if they were actually raped by the pastor and have been taken to the Protective Centre of the State Police Command at Ikorodu.”
