Actor Allegedly Gives Girlfriend Herpes 1, Herpes 2, and Gonorrhea
The actor’s lawyer released a statement in which the actor (Link): denies these allegations.
As for the allegations themselves – not just the STDs, but where he allegedly suggests that his girlfriend, Cathriona White, takes the “morning after pill” and that he texts her about sexual stuff while in the middle of a conversation about their deceased parents? Holy smokes, if this is true, this actor sounds like a real selfish and creepy jerk.
And this makes me glad to be a celibate single. No, I don’t want Herpes or Gonorrhea, no thanks. No, I don’t want to discuss bawdy sex stuff, certainly not in the midst of having a conversation about deceased loved ones, what the hell?
For the record, according to this article, at one point during their phone text chat, the actor asks the girlfriend if she “thought about his cock today.” Sigh. I don’t find that sort of commentary cute, sexy, or funny – I find it juvenile, tacky, gross, and nasty.
Unfortunately, I came across quite a number of men (even ones who said they were Christian) who talk dirty like that on dating sites. I find it a total turn-off. I don’t date guys who talk like that.
I remember Carrey from the “Bruce Almighty” movie (among a few other films). It’s hard for me to believe that the guy who was in that movie – where he seemed decent enough, in the end scheme of things – can be so gross in real life.

Text messages that were allegedly sent by Jim Carrey to his ex-girlfriend Cathriona White show the actor urging White to get the morning after pill following a sexual encounter and referencing his genitalia during a conversation about his late parents.
These new texts were uncovered by Mark Burton in his wrongful death suit against the actor.
The morning after pill text was allegedly sent by Carrey to White on February 13, 2013, just one week before White went in for an STD test that came back positive for Herpes 1, Herpes 2 and gonorrhea.
It had been alleged in the lawsuit against Carrey that he infected White with those three diseases.
Newly released photos meanwhile show the pair one day after the pill text as they smile while enjoying a romantic Valentine’s Day dinner.
The other alleged exchange has White and Carrey speaking about a lit candle meant to symbolize his late mother and father and her late father.
‘I just got a warm loving feeling running through me,’ writes White after seeing a photo of the candle.
She then sends three heart emojis to which Carey responds: ‘Have you thought about my c*** today?’
[The article has photos of a handwritten note the girlfriend sent to Carrey, which read in part]
‘Instead of that, I was disrespected, degraded, called a whore, an opportunist, threatened our relationship belittled. Even had that girl T straight up lie in a letter under oath.
‘And I really don’t think you can see. Like it’s not an issue to you. I’m just an ungrateful b**** who you done so much for and I took advantage. That simply is not true.

Based on what I’m seeing in this article, this actor sounds like a terrible boyfriend, which may be a vast understatement.
For this actor to evoke that kind of reaction from his girlfriend also makes me wonder about his maturity – the guy is in his early 50s, but it sounds as though he’s still operating as though he’s 15 years old, maturity-wise.

Oct 11, 2016 update:
“Pure evil” actor Jim Carrey lied about giving his struggling Irish girlfriend STDs — then supplied her with the illegal drugs she took to kill herself, the woman’s mother charges in a new lawsuit obtained by The Post.
“As a family, we want the world to know the truth about who Jim Carrey really is — a man that will give your daughter three STDs, lie about it, call her terrible names and demean her, use his high-priced lawyers to try and shut her and her family up, and then give her illegal drugs,” Cathriona White’s mom, Brigid Sweetman, said in a statement Tuesday.
Sweetman filed a wrongful death suit against the “Ace Ventura: Pet Detective” and “Bruce Almighty” star in Los Angeles court, accusing him of playing “the role of a mourning boyfriend of Ms. White who was devastated by her death.
“However, the evidence shows this is nothing but a charade and pure fiction,” her suit seethes.
Calling Carrey “heartless,” “outlandish,” “exploitative,” “despicable,” “abhorrent,” “outrageous,” “opportunistic” and “pure evil,” Sweetman says in the document that her daughter was distraught over the fact that Carrey, 54, gave her oral and genital herpes, as well as chlamydia, which can leave a woman sterile.
While Carrey knew he had tested positive for the debilitating STDs — after a trip to a medical clinic “on Jan. 28, 2013, at 11:40 a.m. PST” and registering under the phony name “Jose Lopez’’ — he repeatedly lied to the 30-year-old makeup artist, the suit says.
White questioned him about the issue when she started getting symptoms in January 2013, the suit says. Carrey texted her back, “Agrivated folacles (sic) or bumps are normal when you shave or have vigorous sex,” the papers state.
…White told him that he was the only one who could have given her anything because she had been tested for STDs right before they started dating and been given a clean bill of health, the suit says.
… He attended her funeral in Ireland and publicly stated that he would pay for her funeral but “never paid a dime,” the suit says.
