A man who has been told to tell police if he wants to have sex with someone has admitted infecting two women with HIV.
Aaron Sutcliffe, 29, today pleaded guilty to unlawfully and maliciously inflicting grievous bodily harm by having sex with a woman between January and May 2016.
He previously pleaded guilty to the same offence at an earlier hearing in June for having sex with another woman between January 2009 and September 2010.
Neither of the women can be identified for legal reasons. Sutcliffe, from Fleetwood in Lancashire, was told on June 22 that he must seek written permission before he has sex and tell police officers the name of anyone he is proposing to have intercourse with.
At the same hearing at Blackpool magistrates, Sutcliffe was ruled a risk to the public and made the subject of a full Sexual Risk Prevention Order.
Sutcliffe’s barrister, Julie Taylor, today told the court her client is also the complainant in an ongoing police investigation over claims he had earlier been infected by a man.
