Okay, then, the left and the right clearly have vastly different understandings of “Family Values.”
The right can sometimes be hypocrites and not abide by the standards they have in place, but at least the right has some normal, healthy, baseline standards on some sexual subjects.
(Where conservatives lack: conservatives need to be teaching boys and men that they are not entitled to sex from girls and women, and they need to be taught more often about consent.)
The left, though, just wants to normalize pedophilia and all manner of perversion and immorality across the board.
Progressives want everyone to consent to EVERYTHING and never, ever judge, not even humans engaging in sex acts on children, teens, or with animals. They want to legalize incest, too.
I’d say that conservatives, (those on the right side of the political spectrum), would say allowing children to attend a stage play with lots of adult nudity and overly frank talk of sex acts would be inappropriate. Highly inappropriate. And they’d be correct on that.

A theatre company in the United Kingdom is facing backlash after announcing it was staging a production aimed at children as young as 5 which would feature full-frontal nudity and offer an “alternative to porn.”
ThisEgg, a production company run by Josie Dale-Jones, is set to put on The Family Sex Show at the Royal Theatre in Bath, United Kingdom this coming May. The show is being run as part of the Theatre’s “incubator program,” a creative center within the facility intended to support projects aimed at young people.
…“I’m sorry but I am going to say it. This reeks of grooming. I’m horrified… 5 year olds… this can’t go ahead,” one Twitter user wrote in reply to a post putting the production on blast by journalist Sonia Poulton.
Another user tweeted, “Can I please vote for bringing back shame, thanks!” in response to The Family Sex Show’s claim that it sought to “imagine a future where there is no shame.”
Many mothers and women’s rights activists took particular issue with what they called a “safeguarding nightmare.”
One user looked into the show’s claim about its appropriateness for children aged as young as 5, writing that the guidelines the show was pulling were from the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC) — a UK-based children’s charity.

Only there aren’t any. In their place, a message that they are not ready.

If that means anything other than “try it and see if you like it” (a standard technique used to override a person’s boundaries), it means consent to the thing that might (or might not) “give pleasure” is already assumed. It’s also a common trope, when sexual abuse is reported, to claim it wasn’t abuse if the victim enjoyed it (or appeared to, or if they were unable to indicate that they did not enjoy it). This puts the onus for stopping abuse on the victim.

… Here’s where it gets worse. The website, embellished with cheery pop-up graphics, is intended to be an informative educational resource, perhaps for parents, perhaps for children, to “explore further”. It includes a section of “Stats and Facts” and a “Glossary, produced by the official-sounding “School of Sexuality Education”
Lesbian sexual acts have NEVER been illegal in this country. Ever. (An age of consent, 16, was first established in 2000).
There are a number of stories as to why sexual acts between women were never illegal (most apocryphal: it’s not true about Queen Victoria refusing to sign an Act that mentioned lesbianism into law) but underlying the omission was a patriarchal ignorance about female sexual pleasure, and a sense that it wasn’t “really” sex if it didn’t involve a penis.*
And here it is again! Subsuming women’s experiences and history into that of a male default, and erasing the history of gay men’s struggle for liberation in one go. All wiped out and rebranded as “Queer”.
A “dyke,” by the way, like “lesbian“, is defined as anyone who identifies as one.
… The What? That Dare Not Speak Its Name
One word they could benefit from using ‘around gender’ is ‘sex’.
Because all their definitions of sexualities and sexual orientations are defined as attractions to ‘gender’.
Which, given that gender is either a social construct or an idea in someone’s head, is a bit improbable.
In particular, this erases homosexuality. Not only does the word not appear, but “gay” is defined as “attracted to people of the same gender”. Does that mean attracted to people with the same “social construct” as you? People with the same “idea in their heads”?
…And how shall we fight “hatred or prejudice against women?” Well, not with feminism, the movement for the liberation of women. This is defined by them as working “for the equality of people of all genders”.
Working for the equality of all people is known as “humanism”.
At least they’re anti-misogny
But they aren’t. Having defined misogyny, the glossary then enacts and normalises it with the word TERF. It’s glossed as a neutral term for “A person who excludes the rights of transgender women from their work on women’s rights”.
Anyone who has followed the behaviour of Trans Activists will know that the slur “TERF“ is used exclusively for women, and is probably the most current verbal expression of misogyny around. It is used (Link): to tag women as acceptable targets for violence.
So why is a glossary for a show and company that claims to want “equality” and “looks forward to a future without shame” endorsing a derogatory, misogynist term that seeks to shame women out of expressing their legally protected views? Who does this serve?

Though the Church is mostly unaware, the public appears to be waking up (finally!) to the sad truth that young children from the age of five are now seen as legitimate targets of the wider pan sexual liberation movement.
The latest vehicle for this is the ‘Family Sex Show’ – billed as a ‘fun and silly performance’ about sex ironically claiming to be an alternative to pornography. It is presently touring the UK and funded by the tax payer and the National Lottery via the Arts Council.
The Guardian (unsurprisingly) published a rave review – and a highly sanitized and tendentious one at that. However, if the comments of dismay on MumsNet and the Daily Mail are anything to go by, sleeping giants are (slowly) being roused from their slumber.
The public appears to be realizing it has been had. Its ‘betters’-professionals who ought to be sounding the alarm – are eerily quiet and oddly complacent (complicit?) as activists publicly foist sexualised agendas on children, while offering reassuring but fraudulent claims to silence dissent and allay legitimate fears. No doubt some activists mean well; if only they were better educated and less Woke!
New (and mostly toxic) ground
Free spirited activists – at one point happily naked and deliciously uninhibited! – sing the praises of the clitoris in a show which promotes sex, sexual pleasure and relationships and challenges homophobia, sexism, racism, etc. Terms and concepts used in connection with the production are given precise meanings on the website’s Glossary.
The Glossary includes terms like squirting – ‘when someone with a vulva releases fluid during sex from their genitals’.
Note both the loss of the biological term ‘female’, and the reification of the ‘squirt’ mythology; pegging, which is the act of using a strap-on sex toy to enter a partner; play parties – group sex ‘play’ gatherings featuring bondage, discipline, sadism and masochism etc; sex work (prostitution), oral sex, abortion, hand jobs and kink. All this and much more – so appropriate for those in Key Stage 1 (ages five to seven).
This XXX-rated content is placed in a wider crusading social justice context: we find terms like anti-capitalist, decolonising, intersectionality, white privilege and white supremacy, again all apparently well-suited to children who still believe in the tooth fairy. And finally, just to round it out, theatrical terms like dress rehearsal, matinee, costume and cast can also be found in the Glossary.
… For others still, the fact that children are not mini adults is important. As child psychologist Haim Ginot notes, ‘Children are wet cement: whatever falls on them [leaves] an impression.’ This ‘material’ is not neutrally objective nor remotely ‘scientific’ but is ideological i.e. in a fundamental sense, philosophical or religious.

But a campaigner has started a petition to axe the show and has gained more than 28,000 signatures.

A so-called ‘Family Sex Show’ that urges children as young as five to explore ‘sexual pleasure’ and ‘try sexual practices’, and ‘draw and label’ male and female genitals has been cancelled following a backlash among thousands of angry and concerned parents.
Theatre company ThisEgg has complained it had been forced to scrap its shocking show, which encourages young children to explore sex and sexuality, ‘before it opened’ in Bristol and Norwich after nearly 40,000 parents signed a petition calling for it to be axed.
Writing on Twitter, the group, which receives funding from Arts Council England, claimed their ‘freedom of expression’ had been cancelled, in the face of anger over unsuitable sexual content for pre-teen children.
Parents on website Mumsnet called for the police to investigate after it emerged that participants on stage get naked for five minutes.
The Family Sex Show has openly admitted this, stating: ‘There is nakedness yes. At one point in the show, everyone on stage takes their clothes off to the level they feel comfortable to. For some people, that’s taking off all of their clothes and being completely naked.’
And its website contains material encouraging little children to draw and label vulvae and penises, and make them out of playdoh, and even to ‘try sexual practices’ with their ‘sexual parts’.
…Campaigners including Laurence Fox and Dominique Samuels called the cancellations ‘a win for parents protecting their children’.

The creators of the show, who said they had also received threats, have now cancelled its whole tour.
More than 38,000 people signed a petition calling for it to be axed.
The petition claimed the show was “profoundly irresponsible” and “wholly inappropriate”.
