Other sources I’ve seen about this pervert also say that he railed against “TERFs” (feminists who are opposed to leftist trans activism) and that he claimed that conservatives and Republicans were pedophiles who made or used child porn – when he himself is a pedo who was making child porn.
People on the left often engage in projection like this. It happens every so often from some conservatives or Republicans, but it seems more common place among progressives and liberals.

HONOLULU (KHON2) — A Hawaii teacher has been arrested for sharing child pornography. Federal prosecutors said Alden Bunag sent illicit pictures and video to another teacher on the mainland and admitted to sex with a 13-year-old student.
… According to federal court documents, Bunag had been sending child pornography to a teacher in Philadelphia. That teacher was arrested in October.
… The documents added that “Bunag claimed to have sex with (the boy) at the school during lunch breaks… Described (the boy) as a former student and knew that he was a minor at the time.”
Records said, “he also admitted to distributing the video recording of his sexual contact… admitted to distributing child pornography involving other minor victims.”
…Records also show that Bunag does not have a criminal record, which Chin said is typical with suspects of child pornography.

A teacher in Hawaii is facing charges of distributing child sexual exploitation material, some of which he admitted was created through his own abuse of a 13-year-old boy.
Alden Bunag, 34, who was a substitute high school teacher in Oahu, reportedly committed the crimes from November 2019 through October 2021 …

Bunag began responding to one of the commenters in Rowling’s [author J. K. Rowling] replies, and the two exchanged charged messages for a few days. Bunag called Rowling a “hateful TERF,” and suggested she was a fascist for “propping up anti-trans bigots and businesses.”
The debate culminated in Bunag accusing the other user of being a pedophile for having reservations about teaching children about issues surrounding sexuality and gender identity in schools.
During the discussion, Bunag vehemently opposed Florida’s Parental Rights in Education Bill, stating that it “didn’t protect kids” and would make children intolerant of people’s differences.
“You have yet to demonstrate why teaching kids basic sex ed and discussing gender/sexuality with them is “grooming” while I’ve repeatedly explained why. Don’t tell me to f*cking Google anything, this is also why no one should take you guys seriously, you can NEVER back shit up,” Bunag wrote.
“You’re f*cking acting like we want to show kids porn or something, but something I’ve learned through the years is that whenever right-wingers accuse others of something, it’s DEFINITELY because they’re projecting.”

…Those of us over the age of 40 (or maybe 50) remember the days when homosexuals were often banned from teaching because people were afraid that they would be predators who would groom students. In the old days (the 1970s and 1980s), people advocating for gays and lesbians in the classrooms assured the general public that it was a calumny and a canard to accuse homosexuals of being predatory groomers. However, what we’re seeing with the push to get the LGBTQ+++ agenda in the classroom is exactly what people worried about all those years ago.
Most of America’s teachers, whether straight or LGBTQ+++, are just ordinary people doing a job. However, there are predators out there, and what’s happening with the Pride push in school is that these predators are getting normalized.
After all, the Overton window (that is, the area of normalcy within a community) keeps getting pushed farther and farther left, especially in the case of child sexuality.
Here’s my rule of thumb: people who define themselves primarily by their sexual identity (“I’m gay and I’m a teacher,” as opposed to “I’m a teacher and my private life is none of your business”) shouldn’t be allowed around children — nor should people like Alden Bunag, who was clearly obsessed with teaching sex to children.
These people are like rattlesnakes, making clear their malevolent intentions, but leftists insist that parents ignore the sound or, maybe, teach their kids to cha-cha to the rhythmic beats.

A Hawaii teacher shared child porn with a fellow teacher and bragged about having sex with a 13-year-old boy during school lunch breaks, according to federal prosecutors.
Alden Bunag was arrested on Wednesday by FBI agents at an Oahu high school – where he worked as a summer school teacher, the Honolulu Star-Advertiser reported. Honolulu FBI agents also executed a search warrant at Bunag’s home.
Bunag was charged with distributing child pornography.
The Hawaii public school teacher reportedly sent more than 3,300 messages to another teacher in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Included in the messages were photos and videos of child porn, according to federal court documents. The teacher in Philadelphia was arrested in October.
KHON-TV reported, “The documents added that ‘Bunag claimed to have sex with (the boy) at the school during lunch breaks… Described (the boy) as a former student and knew that he was a minor at the time.'”
Court records said that Bunag confessed to law enforcement that he recorded his sexual encounters with the 13-year-old boy – who was a former student – and sent the videos to others through the Telegram messenger app.
The outlet added, “Records said, ‘he also admitted to distributing the video recording of his sexual contact… admitted to distributing child pornography involving other minor victims.'”
…The Pearl City High School listed “Alden Bunag” as a teacher in a cached version of the school’s website, but he is not listed as a teacher in the current listing of staff.
A former student told Hawaii News Now, “It’s absolutely disgusting. To be honest, though, I wouldn’t put it past him just because he was an odd guy.”
Another former student said, “Definitely was very friendly with all of the kids, especially the male students.”
