Women Threaten to Go On Sex Strike In Protest Over SCOTUS Overturning Roe V Wade

Women Threaten to Go On Sex Strike In Protest Over SCOTUS Overturning Roe V Wade

So, it takes the overturn of Roe Vs Wade to get secular feminists (and probably some progressive religious ones) to think seriously about celibacy now? Are they for real?

I’m in my 50s, still haven’t had sex because I was waiting until marriage to have sex, never got married, so I’m still a virgin. I have a normal libido. There is no such thing as a “gifting of celibacy,” as so many Christians assume; God, if he exists, did not remove my libido.

I discussed in a previous post a couple years ago why I made the choice I did to sexually abstain, but I will repeat one reason of several from that post: I did not want to get pregnant out of wedlock.

Birth control is not totally effective, it costs to maintain, I didn’t want to see a doctor periodically to get check ups to get birth control, etc.

I realized years ago – even as far back as my teen years – that a possible outcome of consensual sex was pregnancy which I didn’t want to happen. I didn’t want to use abortion as birth control (I don’t believe in abortion).

I managed to live my life practicing sexual self control, and I expect others to be capable of the same.

Any time you have sex with another person, that is a choice you’re making. As I’ve said before, sex with another person is a luxury not a necessity.

Having sex is not a biological necessity for you to stay alive – you will continue to live even if you’re abstaining. You can enjoy life without sex with another person.

If you are a woman thinking you can get or keep a boyfriend by giving him sex, think again. That won’t work, and you’ll only attract manipulative, selfish men who don’t make for good boyfriends anyway.

I just find it ludicrous that now that Roe V Wade was overturned, that all these women (many of whom are probably self-identifying feminists who spent years promoting “sex positivity”) are willing to practice celibacy, probably for the first time.

I’ve been celibate my whole life. I never bought into the hedonistic sex messaging of feminists, not even when I was a teen in the 1980s or a college student in the 1990s.

A lot of the “sex positive” feminists always came across to me as though they are really infuriated that men get to have (in some regards) consequence- free sex but not women; some of these feminists assume that all women want to be just as gross and promiscuous as most men are.

Why on earth would it take limitations on abortion to get a woman to think twice about when to have sex, with whom, and so forth?

Abortion will not be out-lawed in all fifty states going forward. Currently, some states still permit abortion, while others still allow it but with more stipulations.

Things should never have gotten to this point in the first place.
Pro Choice feminists reassured all of us pro-lifers back years ago that abortions would be “safe but rare” if it were legalized, but now I see all these air-headed Gen Z or younger Millennial women screaming and yelling on social media about how “proud” they are that they had an abortion.

Some of them are acting like abortion getting limitations strips them of all birth control – were these sexually active young women not already on the pill, or making their boyfriends use condoms? Abortion should never be used as a form of birth control.

Maybe the best things is to abstain and not have ANY sex with another person, unless and until you marry.

I’ve seen a lot of women in the past 30 years write in to advice columnists broken hearted because they wanted a meaningful, lasting, committed relationship but although they were having sex with men, they weren’t getting the marriage proposals they expected to get, as liberal feminists assured them that having free sex anywhere, at any time, with anyone was “empowering.”

But for a lot of women, all that casual sex, or whatever type of sex prior to marriage (outside of a loving, committed relationship), wasn’t fulfilling or empowering.

I just find it so hypocritical that after years and years of seeing so many people, whether secular feminists, or progressive Christians, mock the concept of sexual abstinence and celibacy (or staying a virgin until marriage)
– and yes, I’ve even seen conservative Baptist and evangelical Christians give up on defending purity until marriage –
to suddenly see all these women advocate for celibacy!

Where were all these bitches for the years I’ve been on this blog advocating for celibacy or virginity-until-marriage to at least be respected as a viable life choice for women (and men) instead of something to mock and ridicule?

A lot of you women out there now having conniption fits and screaming about having a Sex Strike should have given sexual abstinence an honest consideration YEARS AGO, prior to the overturn of Roe V Wade.

By the way, I am specifically talking about consensual sex.
Too many feminists have the dishonest tendency to conflate the topics of consensual sex with rape and then condemn any and all discussion of female (or male) sexual restraint as being cruel or victim-blaming.

June 25, 2022
By Emily Crane and  Irie Sentner

Big Apple abortion protesters were in support of a sex strike Saturday — as “abstinence” started trending on Twitter in the wake of the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade.

“If you’re a man who won’t get a vasectomy, even though it’s reversible, and you’re not out in the streets fighting for my rights, you do not deserve to have sex with me,” Brianna Campbell, a 24-year-old EMT, told The Post.

Caroline Healey, a 22-year-old event coordinator, also questioned why sex was more important than women’s rights.

“I think it’s absolutely valid for us to be withholding the Holy Grail that men seem to think is important,” she told The Post at an abortion protest in Manhattan’s Union Square.

…“If this world thinks that they can oppress women forever, then we close our legs.”

Supreme Court Overturns Roe Vs. Wade, Returns Abortion to the States

Supreme Court Overturns Roe Vs. Wade, Returns Abortion to the States

June 24, 2022

I’ve always been pro-life on abortion, and I’ve never been sexually active (one reason of many: I didn’t want to get pregnant out of wedlock), so I’m not disturbed that Roe V Wade was over-turned.

I’m not sure if abortion pills will still be allowed now, or what the legalities are of that.

Aside from saving the lives of more babies, maybe women will now stop and think more about if, when, and with whom, they have sex.

Too many feminists and liberals went from “abortion should be safe and rare” to some of these scum-buckets BRAGGING on social media about having gotten abortions. Clearly, some women began using abortion as a form of birth control, not as a last resort.

If you’re going to end the human life growing in you because you don’t want it, or you believe it conflicts with your career, you should feel a lot of regret, shame, and humility about it, not go on twitter to scream you’re “proud” of your choice – give me a break.

By the way, only women can become pregnant – not men.

“Transwomen” cannot get pregnant, so this won’t impact those clowns either way.

June 24, 202

The Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade on Friday, holding that there is no longer a federal constitutional right to an abortion.

The opinion is the most consequential Supreme Court decision in decades and will transform the landscape of women’s reproductive health in America.

Going forward, abortion rights will be determined by states, unless Congress acts.  Already, nearly half of the states have or will pass laws that ban abortion while others have enacted strict measures regulating the procedure.

… The opinion represents the culmination of a decades-long effort on the part of critics of abortion seeking to return more power to the states.  It was made possible by a solid six-member conservative majority – including three of Donald Trump’s nominees.

Evangelical Adoptions: Churches Are AWOL in Helping Parents of Special Needs Kids by Julia Duin – Churches Are Useless (and Not Just Re: Adoptive Families)

Evangelical Adoptions: Churches Are AWOL in Helping Parents of Special Needs Kids by Julia Duin – Churches Are Useless (and Not Just Re: Adoptive Families)

By Julia Duin, who has also written and has been interviewed about how churches have let down single adults over the age of 30, and who wrote a wonderful book called “Quitting Church.”

This article discusses how so many evangelical churches encouraged Christian couples to adopt babies (usually from foreign nations), but once those adopted babies grew up to have all sort of developmental or personality disorders, churches would not help these parents.

This is like so much of American, evangelical, Baptist and Protestant Christianity:
Sell a certain deed, or a type of life style (or whatever it may be – let’s call it “X,” whether it’s adopting a baby, or whatever it is) as being so “godly” and “pure,” but once you live X out, and X either does not work out, or it creates a whole new batch of problems, those same Christians, or ones like them who promote X, refuse to help you.

I went through something similar in regards to adult singlehood. I wrote about that (Link): here.

I followed all the Christian dating advice I was taught as a teen and 20- something, Christian advice that taught me if I wanted to get married I would, if I just followed “biblical” wisdom, and the Christian persons, books, and magazine articles spelled it out for me.

However, when I remained single into my mid-30s, in spite of having followed the Christian teaching I had been given by other Christians when younger, and when I began asking Christians online (on various blogs and discussion forums) who dish out this swill to singles, why I didn’t have the husband I had been promised according to their teaching, interpretations, and worldview, I was yelled at, judged, and criticized by these Christians.

I was told God didn’t owe me anything, etc, and how dare I expect God to “reward” me with a spouse just because I did Z, Q, and R (i.e., just because I had followed Christian teaching and advice on the topic).

Christians will do this to you – they will sell you and market you on doing X, and so you carry out X, but five, ten years later, X did not work out and maybe even left you with a set of problems you need help with, the same Christians that sold you X in the first place are now not willing to help you, and may even insult you when you go to them telling them that X did not work, and you could use their help.

You end up getting punished for taking the very life-style advice, for buying the marketing, these Christians sold you, guilt tripped you, or conned you into taking in the first place. 😤🤬😡😣😫

It’s demonic and perverse, I swear.

It is crazy-making and despicable how Christians set people up in these no-win or stressful or miserable situations, then fault those people when they try the Christian advice, and admit to defeat, stress, and they ask for help.

Christians set people up for failure with their stupid advice, then have the audacity to victim-blame those people (who earnestly took and followed the advice) for failing. 😡😤🤬

After having read through the testimonies of the parents on this page (see below, link with excerpts), it sounds like exhausting, hellish work to raise these adoptive children who turn out to have medical and behavioral problems.

I cannot, in good conscience, condemn any adult who realizes after so many months or years, they don’t have the mental or physical strength to keep parenting such children and so decide to return these children back to the adoption agency.

I appreciate the work Dee of Wartburg Watch has done against abuse, but I recall years ago, she ripped into famous Christian speaker Beth Moore, because Moore returned one of her adoptive children back to his mother.

I wrote about that situation (Link): here, towards the end of the post, under the sub-heading “Beth Moore / Judgementalism.” (You can scroll down that page to find the Beth Moore section, which is buried under a long discussion about YEC.)

It’s very easy to sit in judgment of someone else when or if your life is more or less going okay at the time and the person you’re criticizing has a life that is falling apart, or they’re in the middle of a calamity, or you may have a different temperament or inner strength the person you’re criticizing lacks.

I personally do not think I’d have the fortitude, endurance, or patience to put up with an adoptive kid who acts out constantly, even into their late teens. I’d want a break from that, too.

I have way, way more comments below this long excerpt, so please keep scrolling to read everything; thank you:

(Link): Evangelical adoptions: Churches are AWOL in helping parents of special needs kids

Excerpts:

by Julia Duin
June 2022

For years, evangelical Christians were enthusiastic supporters of adoption by sponsoring conferences, targeting adoption-friendly Sundays and staging adoption fairs in parish halls.

… Parents now say that the churches that encouraged them to adopt in the first place aren’t there for them now.

…Few statistics exist on the number of adoptions gone wrong, other than a 10-year-old study by the US Department of Health and Human Services reporting “adoption disruptions” ranging from 10-25 percent. This little-known statistic points to a meltdown in the industry and a sign that adoption and foster care have become a landmine for many families who believed God had called them to help these children.

No one told them there could be an aftermath. Here are some of their stories.

[I will not be pasting in ALL stories. These are just a few from the page]

Evangelicals adopted at a higher rate than others
“Joy” was a social worker in Tacoma, Washington, who adopted a 9-year-old boy in 2000, hoping for the best. She had 32 years of experience working for the state and a Christian agency where she’d helped more than 600 people adopt foster children.

The divorced mother of two was prepared for challenging behavior, including attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and developmental delays and PTSD from the child’s six years with mentally ill biological parents.
What stunned her was that by age 15, her son was a registered sex offender. Bad relationships, drug abuse and a child out of wedlock followed. Now 30, he cannot hold down a job.

Pro-Abortion Women Strip to Underwear to Disrupt Joel Osteen Church Services

Interesting that these pro-abortion activists (I am pro-life, not pro-choice) instinctively know who to picket – they go after moderate to conservative Christians, because many (most?) of such will more than likely be pro-life, which is a good thing.

If you’re a woman who doesn’t want to get pregnant, either consistently use birth control, or do what I do: practice sexual abstinence.

… The women were escorted out of the church, allowing Osteen to continue preaching, which garnered cheers and applause from churchgoers.

Outside, however, the activists continued their protest and were joined by other supporters, according to the outlet.

A man who attempted to kill his pregnant girlfriend’s baby by slipping abortion-inducing drugs into her bottled water was sentenced to five years in prison for first-degree intentional homicide.

Marathon County Circuit Judge LaMont Jacobson of Wisconsin sentenced 36-year-old Jeffrey Smith last Friday to five years in prison for the crime. Smith’s sentence was reduced by 689 days for time served, according to the Wausau Daily Herald. The judge also sentenced him to 15 years of supervision after he’s released from prison.

In October 2017, a woman who remained unnamed during the legal proceedings informed Smith that she was pregnant with his child. Smith gave her an ultimatum to either abort the baby or put it up for adoption.

According to court documents, Smith was adamant that she abort the baby, and, in January 2018, he visited the woman in an effort to slip a drug into her drink that he expected would cause her to have a miscarriage.

Pro-choice Abortion Activists Call for Mother’s Day Protests at Churches and Vandalize Churches

Pro-choice Abortion Activists Call for Mother’s Day Protests at Churches and Vandalize Churches

I am pro-life (not pro-choice) on abortion, I think too many Christians have turned motherhood (and marriage) into idols (they should stop doing this), and I don’t agree with a lot of Roman Catholic beliefs, but….

However, I don’t agree with pro-choicers harassing Roman Catholics or vandalizing Roman Catholic Churches on Mother’s Day (or any other time of year), which they’ve been doing lately because they are upset that abortion may go back to the states.

Putting a baby up for adoption is always a choice – I don’t know why these rabid pro-choice groups don’t take that into account.

Just because you become pregnant and carry the baby for nine months doesn’t mean you cannot put the baby up for adoption, so in that sense, these groups are incorrect to chant that “motherhood is being forced on women.”

As a life long celibate woman, allow me to remind you that having sex with another person is optional, not a necessity, and if you choose to engage in consensual sex, pregnancy is a possible outcome for most women.

If you’re a woman who doesn’t want to become pregnant, do not have sex. It’s pretty straight forward.

(Link): Abortion-Hungry Crybabies Target Churches on Mother’s Day

Excerpts:

Even mothers can’t get a day off from left-wing hysteria.

On the day we will be honoring the women who carried us to birth and raised us, radical miscreants are planning to take their battle to kill babies to Catholic churches this Sunday. …

… Could things get ugly? Of course. Pro-abortion groups have released the addresses of the right-leaning Supreme Court judges who think the states, not the feds, should decide to allow or restrict abortions. The White House is okay with doxxing SCOTUS justices. What’s the message? Do whatever you want to those judges.

… Also, what are the attention-starved trans wackjobs going to do to make Mother’s Day all about them? In Australia, one trans-man is calling for a name change. Mother’s Day is too “non-inclusive” since it’s all about those pesky “moms.” This non-binary, um, person is suggesting “Nurturer’s Day.”

Did the Supreme Court Leak (Regarding Abortion) Cause the Democrat Party to Abandon the Trans Community? by Brandon Morse

Did the Supreme Court Leak (Regarding Abortion) Cause the Democrat Party to Abandon the Trans Community? by Brandon Morse

The following editorial (actually there is a second one – there’s another, I’ll link to both below) comes a day or so after a Supreme Court leak shows that the Justices may rule to return the legality of abortion back down to each state to decide, and weeks after the Democrat nominee for the Court said she was unable to define the word “woman.”

As I noted on a blog post a few years ago – before I became more educated about the left’s concept of “intersectionalism” – I noticed that the “woke” liberals on my timeline, and liberals writing for blogs and magazines, seemed to put groups of people into hierarchy, with those groups perceived to be the most marginalized are deemed more worthy of defense and consideration than other groups.

For over a year now, woke liberals have consistently placed the needs, concerns, and preferences of transwomen (biological men who say they are women) above the needs, concerns, preferences, and safety of biological girls and women, because the “trans” group is considered more victimized or down-trodden by the left than biological women.

In light of the fact that the 49 year old pro-abortion ruling Roe V. Wade may be overturned and the legality of abortion sent back to each state to decide, portions of the left are now deciding that the rights or concerns of biological women are paramount, that they over-ride the concerns of transwomen (biological men).

The Democrat Party does not truly care about women – and by women, I mean biological women, not the freaks who are biological males who wear lipstick, skirts, and run around calling themselves women and want access to women’s bathrooms so they can indulge their Autogynephilia and sexually harass or sexually abuse biological girls and women.

(Link): The Transgender Community Just Got Its First Abandonment Moment From the Democrat Party (behind a pay wall)

Excerpts:

by Brandon Morse
May 3, 2022

If there’s one point I’ve made over and over again, it’s that the Democrat Party has no friends, just allies that remain allies so long as they’re useful. They may make a race, group, or career seem like the holiest thing on the planet, but there will be a moment where what was once useful will either lose its luster or become detrimental.

Like a toy that a child got bored with, that group will get tossed to the side where it will collect dust and be forgotten–or be retrieved when it’s considered cool again.

…Right now, the toy being forgotten about that the Democrat considered its most prized possession just the day before yesterday is the transgender community.

So entrenched was the Democrat Party in the transgender narrative that Ketanji Brown Jackson wouldn’t even define what a woman is during her Supreme Court confirmation hearing. More accurately, she said she couldn’t because she wasn’t a biologist.

This was a moment applauded by Democrats, but now that’s all changed.

With the Roe v Wade draft decision leaked and the left getting up in arms over the fact that abortion may now be an issue from state to state, the Democrats have rediscovered the usefulness of the abortion debate and its ability to rally women to its cause.

Just in time too, because the Democrats’ base was getting a bit anemic, and with all the mounting narratives that worked in favor of Republicans growing, a swift change of subject was necessary.

So, now it’s all about women’s rights, but you can’t proclaim to be a protector of women’s rights if your position is “women don’t exist.” Democrats are now required to drop the transgender community, in order to pick back up where they left off with being “the party of women.”

The transgender community is now out of vogue, just like the Asian community, just like Black Lives Matter, and just like every other cause or group the Democrat Party claimed was so important to America. Transgender people went from being the “backbone of our democracy” to being inconvenient in the span of a Politico report.

Christian Conservatives Explain Outrage Over Dave Rubin’s Surrogacy Announcement – Women Used As Props in Homosexual or Transgender Communities

Christian Conservatives Explain Outrage Over Dave Rubin’s Surrogacy Announcement – Women Used As Props in Homosexual or Transgender Communities

I actually follow Dave Rubin on Twitter. I’ve known for awhile he used to be liberal and became a conservative at some point, and he is a homosexual.

I am not too educated on the topic of surrogacy, so that is something I need to research.

In the past year, and though I’m not a feminist myself, I started following a lot of anti-trans-agenda feminists (they tend to call it “radical feminism”), and some of them are strongly opposed to women being used as surrogates to provide babies for other people.

One of my only annoyances with this at this stage, based on what little I know, are Christians who criticize married, infertile (hetero) couples who turn to a surrogate mother and/or IVF, etc, to have a child.

The reason I dislike this, is that I find it hypocritical: most Christian churches, denominations, and persons present being married and having children as being “better” than being single and childless.

So, Christians shame adults for being single and childless, but when or if that adult then tries to take steps to make marriage or pregnancy possible (whether by using dating sites, IVF, a surrogate), that same Christian, church, or denomination will shame that single, childless adult.

You will get shamed or criticized by Christians for striving for the very thing or life goal they are constantly pushing in your face, whether it’s marriage or parenthood.

I may not necessarily be in agreement with all opinions expressed below by other authors.

(Link): No Allies Who Buy Babies

The problem of gay surrogacy reminds us that the right’s alliance with anti-woke liberals cannot and should not survive.

…This, of course, is the primary issue: the moral abomination of surrogacy itself, the commodification of the human child, the relegation of women to the status of incubators. But there is a secondary concern as well.

The same people who make a living being outraged that Lia Thomas, who is a man, is allowed to swim in the women’s races for his college cannot turn around and tell us that there’s nothing wrong with two dudes having babies together.

Is there a difference between men and women, or is there not?

The normalization of homosexuality, and especially the normalization of homosexual parenthood, necessarily leads to the more radical gender ideology advancing from the left today.

Father Shoots Week Old Infant Daughter Four/Five Times Dead Because He Had Wanted A Son, Not A Daughter

This news story comes from Pakistan.

Apparently, residents of Pakistan don’t buy into American, leftist nonsense about biological sex being “assigned at birth,” or something someone can just “identify as,” because when this sociopathic piece of TRASH reported about in the news stories below saw that his first born child lacked a penis (ie, was a female child), he shot her dead four- five times, killing her.

This baby girl was only a WEEK OLD, lord Jesus.

Let this be another (very unfortunate, sad) example that being a parent (or married) does NOT make a person more loving, mature, godly, or ethical, as is often argued by American, pro-Nuclear Family Christian and secular conservatives.

With the right to abortion under threat, men say they want to play a role in reproductive planning to support their partners

By Emily Wax-Thibodeaux
December 26, 2021

After Andy and Erin Gress had their fourth child, Andy decided it was time for him to “step up” and help with the family planning. So he did something that the mere thought of makes some men cringe: He got a vasectomy.

…His wife had taken birth control pills, but she struggled with the side effects. She had worked as a night nurse through four pregnancies, and the couple had children ranging in age from 2 to 11.

“The procedure was a total relief, almost like the covid shot — like I’m safe now,” said Gress, who works in higher education. “I wanted to man up.”

But Gress’s action wasn’t just about his family. He also believed he should do more to support his wife and other women who don’t think the government should decide what they do with their bodies. “I’ve seen the miracle of life,” he said. “But I’ve also seen kids who are born into poverty and misery and don’t have a fair shot.”

Shock: Irresponsible, Sexist, and Selfish Men Benefit from Abortion Access by T. Lowe

Shock: Irresponsible, Sexist, and Selfish Men Benefit from Abortion Access by T. Lowe

This is kind of old news, or maybe it’s more accurate to say news goes in cycles, because I remember after I began blogging here more regularly, a few years later, I saw news stories about how some men support abortion only, or primarily, because they want to be able to use women for sex and dump them soon after, and if abortion is legal, they won’t have to be concerned about helping the woman they impregnate.

(Link): Shock: Irresponsible, Sexist, and Selfish Men Benefit from Abortion Access by T. Lowe

Excerpts from the editorial:

….Men are certainly entitled to an opinion on abortion. But the absolute worst male opinion on abortion is the one articulated recently by Kaivan Shroff, an alum of the Hillary Clinton campaign. He proudly writes, “Men like me benefit from safe abortion access.”

“Since I’ve spent 10 of the past 11 years as a student, most of the women I’ve had sex with were also students, also progressive, and also not at a point in their lives where they were looking or ready to have children,” Shroff writes.

“I try to share responsibility for birth control and if a woman tells me she’s on it, I also trust that. If she still got pregnant, however, though entirely her decision, I assume we would both want the same thing: an abortion.”

Although Shroff says he “often” relies on women to “protect” him from fathering a child, he concedes that he and a Tinder date who claimed to be allergic to latex “didn’t use the best judgment,” presumably having unprotected sex and then relying on her taking Plan B. The security of unfettered abortion access, Shroff writes, “has informed my approach to sexual exploration and relationships.”

He then laments that, all too often, “male engagement with the pro-choice movement has been articulated solely through the lens of female empowerment.”

That last line really gives the game of third-wave feminism away. Rather than hold men to higher standards of conduct, third-wave feminism rebranded the objectification and degradation of women as a form of empowerment.
