A man in Port Orange, Florida, has been sentenced to two years in prison for not telling his sexual partners he was infected with HIV.

Burns was initially charged in 2019 once an ex-girlfriend stepped forward with information that he was having sex with other women and apparently not telling them he was infected.

North Carolina is one of only a handful of states that have similar laws

by Brie Stimson

North Carolina lawmakers killed a bill this week that would have repealed a more-than-a-century-old law that allows people to sue their spouse’s lover for “alienation of affection,” according to reports.

State Rep. Wesley Harris, a Democrat who sponsored the bill, contended the law was both “archaic and antiquated.”

“This was started in the 1700s in Great Britain when women were still treated as property of their husbands,” he said, according to WRAL-TV in Raleigh.

Jere Royall, director of community impact and counsel for the North Carolina Family Policy Council, disagreed.

I like seeing creativity in dirt bags. He’s not a standard dirt bag, he makes some effort, shows some ingenuity.

….Takashi Miyagawa was working part-time and dating 35 women — an impressive combo, to be sure.

Regrettably — brace yourselves — he wasn’t being completely upfront.

As it turns out, not only were his three-dozen ladies unaware of one another; they had no idea when Takashi had actually been born.

Such seems the case, at least, where a woman in Las Vegas is concerned.

But first, the Word of the Day: Allegedly.

Apply it to everything below.

On October 11th, Kimberly Marika Johnson went on a date.

As she and her suitor broke bread, a significant chunk of food for thought was served: He admitted he’d only brought five bucks.

Call it a choke point.

Sitting there at Jerry’s Nugget, the lady doubtlessly deduced she hadn’t struck gold.

Per one investigator’s affidavit, “An argument ensued.”

Subsequently, “Ms. Johnson made (the friend) walk home.”

But the duo was destined for more.

As it turned out, despite a cold-fish sort of start, their romance was about to get hot.

Pharmacist Allegedly Sexually Assaulted Woman He Met on eHarmony (Dating Site)

According to this article, this rapist – a man who raped a woman he met on dating site ‘eHarmony’ was previously married – his wife died years prior.

This goes to show that contrary to what conservatives and Christians teach, being married does not make people more mature, responsible, godly, or loving. Nor does a person have to obtain some kind of perfection (moral or otherwise) to have to “merit” a spouse from God.

A Colorado pharmacist allegedly lured an Indiana woman he met on dating site eHarmony to his home with the promise of providing treatment for an ailment — but instead plied her with drugs to sedate her during sexual assaults, according to reports.

Brent Stein, 46, who owns Mountain Key Pharmacy in Florissant, was already on probation after a 2019 conviction for a domestic violence incident when he met the woman on the site on June 8, The Gazette reported.

Stein told the woman he wanted to “court her,” but she told him she was not interested in a sexual relationship at the time and decided to fly to Colorado Springs two days later, according to Fox 21.

Married Couple (Man, Woman) Rape and Murder Eight Year Old Girl

Married Couple (Man, Woman) Rape and Murder Eight Year Old Girl

I am not opposed to marriage, but I am in strong disagreement with the many conservative persons or groups who keep arguing that marriage is necessary to make people godly, loving, ethical, or responsible.

The Bible, first of all, does not teach that concept at all (it actually says per 1 Cor 7 that the state of singleness is preferable to marriage).

Secondly, as the many examples on my blog show of married couples who rape and murder each other or other people, there is nothing about marriage that manifests good, moral behavior in those who are married

Family Values Won’t Stop Mass Shootings – Lawmaker Who Blamed Dayton Massacre on Same-Sex Marriage and Break Down of the Family Urged by GOP Leader to Resign

Family Values Won’t Stop Mass Shootings – Lawmaker Who Blamed Dayton Massacre on Same-Sex Marriage and Break Down of the Family Urged by GOP Leader to Resign

I’m a conservative person and was a life-long Republican until 2014/2015. So, I’m certainly not a left wing, family- or family-values hating person.

However, I do believe that other conservatives over-estimate the importance of, or the effects of, the nuclear family, marriage, and “family values.”

I have (Link): plenty of examples on my blog of self-professing, God-fearing “family men,” who even tout family values, who do things like rape children or beat their wives.

Even if every one in our nation was married with children, and professed belief in Christ, we’d still continue to have sin – we’d have mass shootings, rapes, and the like.

Granted, if people were sincere about following Christ and his teachings, maybe some of those things would decline, but I don’t believe any of those things would give us a crime-free society.

The Bible doesn’t say any where the marriage, the nuclear family, and (Link): being a parent will make people into better, more ethical people. The Bible points people to Christ, not to marriage or pro-creation.

Family values, the family unit, marriage, and natalism have not stopped men from raping children and beating their wives – again, I have plenty examples on my blog of married men who are fathers to children who have been arrested for raping their own children, selling their own children to other men for sex, for beating and murdering their wives (see here and here).

And, by the way, I don’t think video games or homosexual marriage causes mass shootings, either. This lady is wrong.

Excerpts:

Candice Keller is a Republican state representative from Middletown, a small city 30 miles south of Dayton, where a gunman killed at least nine people and wounded 27 others early Sunday. In a now-deleted Facebook post, she wrote: “After every mass shooting, the liberals start the blame game. Why not place the blame where it belongs?”

The post listed reasons Keller thought the United States is grappling with mass shootings, including “the breakdown of the traditional American family,”… Continue reading “Family Values Won’t Stop Mass Shootings – Lawmaker Who Blamed Dayton Massacre on Same-Sex Marriage and Break Down of the Family Urged by GOP Leader to Resign”

Teenage Girl, 18, Knocked Out In Street After Telling Man Who Followed Her From Club ‘I’m Not Interested’

Teenage Girl, 18, Knocked Out In Street After Telling Man Who Followed Her From Club ‘I’m Not Interested’

I don’t know what’s more distressing: that men feel it’s acceptable to verbally or physically attack women who reject their advances in the first place, or the men I see online who were defending guys who do this (and assume the teen-aged girl in question did something to “deserve it”),
or the idiotic and oblivious Christian men (like the one I debated with today on social media about this)
-and other types of men- online who assume that single men have life and relationships worse than women do – when men don’t face attacks like this from women when they are out and about.

I read two articles about this: the girl in the story had just left a club with a male friend of hers, when a man and his two friends started following her down the street. The girl in this news item had NOT been flirting with this man inside the club, nor was she accepting drinks from him inside the club.

I mention that fact because one sexist asshole who left a comment under one of the news tweets about this story said something like, “She was probably taking drinks off men like him all night then blowing them off when they flirted, so she deserved this.”

I tweeted at the guy that the man was not even in the club with her when this started – at no time did he buy her a drink, and even had he, it would still not give him the right to attack this girl or to harass her or intimidate her as she walked home.

In all my years of collecting links to place on this blog, I’ve seen only a few where women attack men – usually their boyfriends or husbands – when their male partner refuses to have sex with them. (I have a few examples of this on my blog.)

However! The vast majority of news items I see where one person rejects the advances of another features male-on-female violence. Yet some men want me to believe they have dating or single life just as hard as women do.

No, you men do not – you men don’t have dating and singleness any where near as difficult as women do.

July 2019

AN 18-YEAR-OLD girl was punched unconscious after telling a man who followed her home from a nightclub that she wasn’t interested.

Gabrielle Walsh was on a night out with her friend Kyle McKeown in the Manchester city centre over the weekend when they were attacked.

They were walking from Club Bloom in the Gay Village at about 3.30am when three men approached them.

Mom Accused of Murdering Toddler Son Because He Was Interfering With Extramarital Affair by Harriet Sokmensuer

Are nuclear families and motherhood better for society? Does motherhood make women more godly, loving, and mature, as so many Christians and secular conservative think tanks teach? Why no, no it does not. As this news story clearly illustrates (even more examples of this on my blog (Link): here and (Link): here.

A Man Allegedly Shot A Baby In The Head After Her Mom Rejected Him At A Party by B. Sacks

Here is an example of Toxic Masculinity – a phenomenon that many conservatives either misunderstand or believe does not exist. (Note to any new-comers: I am a conservative. I am not a liberal, but I do agree with liberals and feminists that Toxic Masculinity is real.)

June 2019

The 10-month-old girl had surgery Sunday to remove bullet fragments from her skull. The suspect has been charged with attempted murder.

A man allegedly shot a 10-month-old baby in the head after her mother rejected him at a party, police said.

Officials in Fresno, California, say 23-year-old Marcos Antonio Echartea had continuously hounded Deziree Menagh at a party Saturday night.

Echartea allegedly met the 18-year-old woman the week before and, when he ran into her at the gathering, tried to grab her hand.

Dating App Horrors: The Untold Story | A&E

Dating App Horrors: The Untold Story | A&E

The A&E channel is airing a program about people (mostly women) who have been raped, robbed, or murdered by men they met for dates via dating sites.

From what I gather so far about this program, the show is high lighting that dating sites are not legally responsible for your safety, nor do they care to be, and there are all sorts of crazies and violent people using these dating sites.

By the way, one of the serial rapists mentioned on this show was a married man – so much for the conservative think tank and Christian propaganda that marriage makes people “better” or more responsible and ethical.
