views and thoughts on topics, especially ones pertaining to christianity – with an emphasis on how most christians either ignore or discriminate against unmarried christians – and how christians have turned marriage and parenting into IDOLS and how there is no true support for sexual purity, virginity, or celibacy among christians – this is a blog for me to vent; I seldom permit dissenting views. I don't debate dissenters ————-
Montana Pastor J.D. Hall, Pulpit&Pen Founder, Charged with DUI, Carrying Weapon
This Hall guy actually did some good work a few years ago in exposing a perverted youth pastor type guy who was preying on young Christian women… but other than that, I usually don’t agree with a lot of Hall’s other views, doctrinal beliefs, or actions.
Jordan Daniel Hall, also known as JD, was arrested on the evening of May 11, 2022, by the Sidney Police Department in Montana for driving under the influence of drugs. Hall is the pastor of Fellowship Baptist Church, a 100+ member Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) church in Sidney.
Hall, who was also carrying a concealed handgun at the time of his arrest, tested 0.00 during the blood alcohol test administered at the stop. However, according to the police report, he performed “very poorly” during a Standardized Field Sobriety Test (SFST).
Pastor Marc Little calls for companies to support police as crime soars
April 22, 2022
By Joshua Q. Nelson | Fox News
Pastor Marc Little on Friday blasted woke corporations for supporting Black Lives Matter and showed support for cops.
“Before they wrote the checks, we saw Black Lives Matter leadership cross that bridge and say pigs in a blanket fry them like bacon. They had a website up that made it very clear what their intentions were, to destroy the nuclear family,” Little told “Fox & Friends.”
Little called Black Lives Matter a “communist” organization and claimed corporate titans who show support for the group made their livings off of American capitalism.
Thousands Question 63-Year-Old Pentecostal Bishop’s Marriage to Teen in His Church
April 20, 2022
I actually meant to blog about this earlier. I saw a few people mention this on Twitter about two or three (or more??) weeks (or months?) ago, I guess it was.
This is gross. I have never, ever agreed with “may-december relationships,” where someone is more than 5 or 6 years older than their partner. I think they’re nasty. 🤮🤢
Creepy doofus mentioned below has been divorced THREE TIMES. Three.
Let this go to show you that Christian dating and advice books from years past (I don’t know if they still do this) that advise singles who want marriage that God won’t permit you to marry until you achieve some level of godliness, maturity, or perfection are obviously in error, since creepy perverts like this guy manage to make it to the altar THREE TIMES (or, I guess four, if this is wife four?)
DES MOINES, Iowa — Bishop Demetrius Sinegal, the founder of an advocacy organization that works to expose clergy abuse, flew in from Texas and called for a full investigation into the November 15th marriage of Des Moines Bishop Dwight Reed and Jordan Reed of the Christ Apostolic Temple. Dwight is 63-years-old and Jordan is 19.
“This marriage tears at the very fiber of the social construct of the African American family. Children are taught to respect their grandparent contemporaries not to marry them,” said Sinegal.
Iowa law states the minimum age to marry without parental consent is eighteen but Bishop Sinegal claims Jordan’s paternal grandfather came on one of Sinegal’s many online platforms alleging clergy abuse. “He came on and emphatically condemned this marriage. His words and I quote were ‘Her father sold his daughter out and pimped her out for his own self-gain.’”
Thousands are calling for an investigation into a Pentecostal church bishop in Iowa who married a teen in his church.
An outside clergyman accuses the bishop of “gross abuse of power” and years-long “grooming” of an underage congregant. And some of the teen’s family members and fellow church members also say they’re concerned she is a victim of clergy abuse.
Pastor Used Scripture Trying to Coerce Congregants Into Sexual Relationships, Prosecutors Say
I’m not sure if this guy is married or not, as the articles don’t seem to say. If he is, you know my take: contrary to Al Mohler and other marriage idolaters, marriage doesn’t make anyone more godly, ethical or mature, as they often claim.
Also, you don’t have to achieve holiness or perfection to merit a spouse from God, as some Christian dating advice books used to say.
Lastly, “equally yoked” is a waste of your time, Christian single ladies, and, tied in with that point, contrary to what my well-meaning Christian parents taught me, church is not a good or safe place to meet single men to date or marry, since the few that attend turn out to be perverts.
A pastor charged with inappropriately touching multiple women tried to use Scripture to coerce female churchgoers into sexual relationships, Delaware’s Department of Justice has claimed.
Bishop Major Foster, a former pastor at Philadelphia Pentecostal Holiness Church of Ellendale, faces pending charges of unlawful sexual contact. Prosecutors are asking women to contact local law enforcement if they’ve been abused by the pastor as they now have “reason to believe that additional victims may be unidentified.”
In a statement Thursday, Delaware authorities say that reports made to law enforcement allege Foster “attempted to use scripture to coerce female parishioners into sexual relationships, made inappropriate comments, and instigated prolonged hugs during which he made inappropriate sexual contact with his victims.”
Perry Stone (Hosts Christian Show on TBN) Under Investigation by Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, Report Claims
Seems like almost every pastor or Christian host I watched on Christian network TBN later turned out to be a pervert, a guy who had affairs, etc. This guy is another one I used to watch on a regular basis. He’s married, by the way.
The newspaper adds that a TBI spokesperson confirmed by email that the agency is investigating the Cleveland, Tennessee-based televangelist at the request of the district attorney general, Steve Crump, who has to decide if charges need to be pressed after the results of the investigation.
Married Father of Three Pastor Allegedly Committed Adultery, Raped Junior Woman Church Staffer, Used Church Funds to Fund Lavish Lifestyle
Does being a male, married, and a parent make a person smarter, more ethical, godly, compassionate, or responsible than being a woman, single, or childless? Why no, Al Mohler and other marriage, patriarchy, complementarian, and parenthood promoters, it surely does not, but you guys keep promoting that falsehood.
A New Hampshire pastor has been charged with multiple counts of possessing child pornography after a five-year investigation, according to court documents.
Nashua police arrested Stephen Bates, 46, on March 15. The Bible Baptist Church pastor is now facing five counts of possession of child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and is being held on $3,000 cash bail.
“I think this case is particularly concerning because he is a pastor and somebody that’s involved in the community here,” Nashua Police Lt. Brian Trefry told WHDH.
The Nashua Police Department has been investigating Bates since 2016, when the department received 14 tips from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children alleging that a user at the church had uploaded CSAM from an IP address leading back to the church.
…On March 15, police executed a search warrant and contacted Bates, who gave police two flash drives from his back pocket. The USBs showed various child sex abuse images, according to the affidavit.
NASHUA, N.H. — A pastor in Nashua, NH has been arrested and charged in connection with an extensive child pornography investigation.
Police in Nashua Tuesday arrested 46-year-old Pastor Stephen Bates at the Bible Baptist Church.
Investigators say that church has been connected to several investigations beginning in 2016, when they were contacted by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children with a cybertip indicated child pornography had been accessed by an IP address at the church.
A pastor at a New Hampshire church now faces five felony charges of possession of child sexual abuse images after investigators said they found five graphic videos showing child sex abuse images on a flash drive in his pocket.
Stephen Bates, 46, was arrested Tuesday morning at the Bible Baptist Church on Caldwell Road, where he lives, on a felony charge of possession of child sexual abuse images. Court documents released Thursday show he is now facing five charges of possession of child sexual abuse images, instead of just one.
Oh, Dear, Another (Male) Mega-Church Pastor In Trouble, Possibly for Adultery – Brian Houston of Hillsong Church – So Much for Equally Yoked and Male Headship Teachings!
Update below, March 22, 2022 – Houston has since resigned.
If not adultery, this may possibly be a case of Clergy Sexual Abuse, if there was sexual activity between this guy and the lady.
This would also go to show (once again) that marriage does not make people more upstanding, loving, moral, or godly than remaining single. Also: one does not have to achieve a level of godliness before God will permit a person to marry (this was commonly taught in the dating advice books I read by Christians while growing up).
If so many grown, married men, even ones who identify as Christian, can do idiot things like claim to be quasi-stoned and stumble into another woman’s hotel room, this goes to show that married people are not more responsible than single adults.
Also goes to show that the “equally yoked” rule is a waste of time for single Christian women: you can be a Christian woman who marries a Christian man, but the Christian man in question doesn’t even bother to follow the most basic of Christian ethics.
Complementarian Christians keep teaching that men are, for some reason, supposedly more suitable for leadership roles in life in church, and news stories like this one reveal that no, they are not. Many men are complete failures at leadership.
Embattled former Hillsong pastor Brian Houston allegedly committed ‘indiscretions’ towards two women, the current head of the global church has revealed in a meeting with staff.
Pastor Phil Dooley, who took over leadership of the church from Houston in January, told staff about the apparent incidents during a video conference on Friday morning, the ABC reported.
The claims, revealed during a Zoom meeting with some 800 staff, come just months after Mr Houston stepped down as leader of the mega-church while he fights criminal charges that he covered up his father’s child sex abuse.
Why Men Have More Orgasms Than Women by David Ludden (Hint: Male Entitlement is Involved. Notify Every Christian Gender Complementarian, Christian Patriarchalist, MRA, and Incel Ever)
The essay below, which references studies, mentions that male entitlement plays a role in why hetero men orgasm more in sex with women than women do.
This should be an eye-opener to every sexist, hetero man ever, including the sex-obsessed, marriage-obsessed, Christian gender complementarian and Christian Patriarchy rat bastards who already hold a lot of false beliefs about women and sex, such as,
“Only men want sex; women hate sex, women are not visually oriented and just want emotional connection, therefore, husbands unfortunately have to always nag their wives into having sex!”
Some portions below in bold face added by me for emphasis:
by David Ludden – Psychology Today
February 13, 2022
It’s commonly thought that men orgasm more easily than women due to biology, but research doesn’t support this contention.
Men are enculturated with a sense of entitlement, and this may play out in the bedroom as well.
Research shows that both men and women believe men are more entitled to have orgasms.
It’s common knowledge that men are more likely than women to orgasm during a sexual encounter. This is true in both casual affairs and long-term relationships. But why this is the case is not clear.
…It’s Not About Biology
As University of Michigan psychologists Verena Klein and Terri Conley point out in an article they recently published (Link): in the journal Social Psychological and Personality Science, this argument doesn’t hold water. First, there’s nothing about the clitoris to suggest that it’s less likely to produce orgasms than the penis since both have the same concentration of nerve endings.
Furthermore, women are capable of having multiple orgasms in short secession. In contrast, men are limited in the number of orgasms they can have within a given time period.
For reasons that are still unknown but highly debated, men experience a refractory period after each ejaculation, so multiple orgasms are out of the question. Given these facts, it seems that women should be having way more orgasms than men, not the other way around.
Since they ruled out biological reasons, Klein and Conley considered whether the gendered sexual pleasure gap could be explained by social attitudes about sex. They note that in Western society, men are taught to feel more entitled, whereas women are trained to act more deferential.
However, as of February 2022, the site is not loading. I guess it was taken down?
I’ve done some web searching, but I cannot find another site about Biblical Womanhood like this one by SWBTS, or written by them.
Their site was an off shoot of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (their site: swbts.com).
Their site’s affiliated Twitter, account, @BiblicalWoman still exists, but they removed all Tweets – well, the Twitter account must’ve been newer than the site, because the Twitter page says they started their account in 2019, but their site goes back to at least around 2014.
On another look, 2015 was the date on Wayback Machine’s last available date for them, but a few of their blog posts are time stamped 2019.
Edit. I think somewhere on the archived “Biblical Womanhood” site is a notice that says they will be shutting their Christianized Martha Stewart site down and moving content over to Facebook.
Let me see if I can find them on Facebook. Their archived site states that their Facebook group address is (Link): facebook.com/BiblicalWoman. I tried that link, but it goes to a blank page, except for this text:
This Page Isn’t Available
The link may be broken, or the page may have been removed. Check to see if the link you’re trying to open is correct.
— end —
So even their Facebook presence was deactivated at some stage.
But where ever, and how ever, will I get content to shame me for being single into my adulthood (the TGC or Desiring God sites maybe)?
Where else will I get content like, “55 Feminine, Biblical Casserole Recipes with Hamburger Meat as an Ingredient,” -?
or, “17 Feminine, Godly Handi-Crafts Using Popsicle Sticks Glued Together” -? Where?!
Can I make it through life without gender stereotyped dating, cooking, and arts- and- crafts advice from complementarians? What ever will I do?🤔🙄
Whether it’s parenting your teenage daughter, finding purpose in your singleness ….
— end excerpt —
Oh please. 99.9% of the time, 100% of complementarians are only interested in three, four areas areas in regards to women(*), and NONE of them have to do with single women, because complementarians, beyond giving their presumptuous “practice being a good homemaker NOW, while you’re living alone in your own apartment, to prepare yourself for the day, when you’re 25 and get married and have children!” articles (presumptuous because some women never end up marrying), they never have anything meaningful to say about adult female (or male, for that matter) singleness.
The areas most complementarians harp on 100% of the time include:
convincing women it’s not biblical for them to preach,
brainwashing them to think the complementarian form of codependency (“submission”) is good and godly,
and constantly harping on “marriage and motherhood.”
Men, Sex, and Relationships: A Therapist Shares Surprising Truths About Desire
I’ve been saying on this blog FOR YEARS that gender stereotypes about sexuality are incorrect.
A lot of complementarian Christians think that all men want sex all the time, that God designed men to want sex more than women, and yet, almost every time I see a letter written to an advice columnist about someone in a sex-starved marriage, it’s almost always a woman upset that her husband doesn’t want to have sex at all, or not as much as she does!
Research overturns male stereotypes about porn, libido and the importance of physical attractiveness.
“The stereotype that we have in our society around men and sex is that men constantly are in the mood for sex and that they’re always interested,” says human sexuality expert Sarah Hunter Murray. “(But) men sometimes don’t want to have sex.”Getty Images stock

When it comes to men and sex, women may be missing a big part of the story.
From the role of porn and the strength of libido, to the importance of physical attractiveness and the desire to chase, popular culture paints a picture that doesn’t always match the reality of what happens behind closed bedroom doors.
“The stereotype that we have in our society around men and sex is that men constantly are in the mood for sex and that they’re always interested,” human sexuality expert Sarah Hunter Murray told TODAY.
“(But) men sometimes don’t want to have sex…. ‘Not tonight dear, I have a headache” — we think about that as something the wife says; we don’t have the same vernacular for talking about men’s low sexual desire.”
Pastor Sentenced to 23 Years in Prison for Brutal Murder of Estranged Wife
So, does the conservative Christian and conservative secular pro-marriage, pro-Nuclear Family propaganda I heard growing up – that marriage makes people more mature and godly, and society better – ring true, in light of all the news stories I am forever seeing of married people who beat and murder one another, or who are involved in skeezy, disgusting, swinging or polyamorous relationships? (No, no it does not.)
A lot of Christian dating advice I recall being exposed to in the 1980s and 1990s assured me that so long as I remained chaste, godly, and faithful, that in due time, God would send me “Mr. Right.”
Well, I lived a godly, chaste, and faithful life, but I remain someone who never did get married into my 50s.
The flip side of this was the Christian material that suggested that if you were NOT married by age 25 or 30 or so, it must be that God is not allowing you to meet your Mr. Right (or your Miss Right, if you’re a guy) because you’re obviously failing in some way – you’re living in sin, or whatever.
Then you see these news stories about married people (some of whom are professing Christians) who produce child porn, or who rape kids, or who murder their spouses, and you realize, if God did not withhold a spouse from those scuzz buckets, there’s obviously not some heavenly litmus test you have to meet to “merit” a spouse from God.
A New York pastor who ran over his estranged wife with her car and then repeatedly attacked her with a machete in front of her grandchildren has been sentenced to 23 years in prison.
The pastor, 65-year-old Victor Mateo, who led Christian Congregation The Redemptor, Inc. in the Bronx, “not only took the life of a Bronx grandmother but also inflicted a possible lifetime of trauma to her grandchildren who were witnesses to this horrific crime,” Bronx District Attorney Darcel Clark said as Judge Margaret Clancy of Bronx Supreme Court sentenced him to 23 years in prison and five years of post-release supervision, according to the prosecutors.
Last November, Mateo pleaded guilty before the court to one count of first-degree manslaughter for killing his estranged wife, Noelia, 58, who was found unconscious with multiple lacerations to her body on Oct. 3, 2019.
