Writers at WND and Real Clear Wire Sound Like They’re Freaking Out Over Increasing Numbers of Single Women Who Aren’t Marrying or Having Children

Writers at WND and Real Clear Wire Sound Like They’re Freaking Out Over Increasing Numbers of Single Women Who Aren’t Marrying or Having Children

I saw this headline go through my Twitter feed earlier (this is how the writers at WND chose to word their headline – WND says this article at their site originally appeared at another site called “Real Clear Wire”):

“Single women could push U.S. into ‘demographic decline’ like in Japan”

It’s hard for me to say if the writers at WND are stating that “matter of factly,” but at first glance (and realizing they’re conservatives, with many of my fellow conservatives being very grossly obsessed about promoting marriage and the nuclear family), it sounds as though it’s blaming and criticizing women for being single and for choosing not to reproduce.

As a conservative woman myself, who’s never married or had children, I abhor both liberals (or progressives) AND conservatives shaming or criticizing people (women especially) over whether to marry or have children or not.

Both sides need to back off. Allow women to decide for themselves if they’d like to marry and/or have children.

Men seldom get as much pressure, shaming, criticism, and guilt tripping to marry and have children as women do – and it’s sexist.

Women do not exist merely to marry and have kids and assist a man (husband) make HIS goals and dreams come to pass.

Most of the article itself at WND isn’t too bad – it seems to be straight up reporting. I only spotted two or three possible subtle, sexist digs at single women.

In the past week, I’ve seen two or three other headlines from other sources, such as The Daily Mail, go through my feed about how there are more and more single women in the USA now (including large numbers of never married women), and how a lot of these women tend to vote Democrat.

I am always alarmed when such news stories and surveys are released, because unfortunately, every time such studies or stories are published, the sexist asshole conservative and Republican men (and conservative / Republican women who are traitors to their own biological sex as a group) become aware of such news reports, and they immediately begin tweeting and blogging their revolting, sexist, anti-single-women propaganda, and their “women shouldn’t have the right to vote” garbage.

Many of these conservatives, when they begin catching wind of whatever recent news reportage of women staying single and childless, begin their face-palming, vomit-worthy lamentations about how America in 2023 isn’t the same as good old 1952 America, where every woman got married by age 23 and had five children.

Many such conservative-penned tweets and articles, and Tucker Carlson on his nightly FOX news show, will demonize single women for being single, will attempt to make marriage look like nirvana (never mind that a lot of husbands cheat on their wives or murder them), and in yet others, these authors or cable news commentators attempt to lecture, scold, or shame single women into marrying immediately and popping out ten kids, whether these women want to or not, and whether or not these women even know many single men they can date.

I could go on for ten more pages about why such utterly predictable material is disgusting and sexist, but one thing I wanted to point out is that these excessively pro-marriage idiot conservatives never factor in is that getting married is not easy.

I myself had wanted to be married, and in spite of having friends fix me up on dates, in spite of going to singles classes at churches, in spite of joining dating sites, I couldn’t find a compatible mate.

Even if a single woman wants to get married, it’s no easy task to find a decent, compatible guy.

So, if you’re a conservative, unless you’re willing to actually help marriage-desiring single women to get married, to fix them up on dates with decent single guys you know, or to get your local church to host more singles mixers and so forth so these singles can meet and marry, shut up with browbeating single women to get married.

A single woman cannot wave a magic wand and make a husband magically appear before her – it involves going out on dates with various men, and that is no guarantee of finding a suitable marital partner.

Some of those men women go on dates with or see on dating sites may be perverts, controlling, immature, selfish, or personality disordered -in other words, none of those types of men are marriage material.

Shaming and hounding single women to get married does nothing to actually HELP a single woman run into and marry an eligible single man. So shut up, conservatives, shut up about scolding women for not marrying.

I find that conservatives generally ignore single women. But this comes in cycles.

Conservatives will annoyingly ignore single, childless women and their concerns unless and until

  • another new study appears discussing how more and more women are staying single and childless which may impact future demographics, or,
  • until a major election cycle where a Republican loses to a Democrat, because, it’s found, single, childless women as a bloc voted for the Democrat, helping the Republican to lose.

Then, all the sudden, only in these very limited contexts, will these anti-singles idiot conservatives and Republicans start frothing at the mouth and pearl clutching and writing their singles-shaming editorials and tweets that are chock full of sexism about “why aren’t women marrying and making babies any more.” The rest of the time, we single and childless women do not exist on their radars.

Hey, fellow conservatives:
Why don’t you pro-marriage, pro-motherhood, pro-nuclear family assholes start investing into single and childless women at all times, not just when your favorite Republican loses an election? Start reaching single, childless women where they are and start offering them incentives to vote Republican.

‘One of the great untold stories of American politics’

By WND News Services

[Editor’s note: This story originally was published by Real Clear Wire.]

By Joel Kotkin & Samuel J. Abrams

Soccer Moms are giving way to Single Woke Females – the new “SWFs” – as one of the most potent voting blocs in American politics.

Unmarried women without children have been moving toward the Democratic Party for several years, but the 2022 midterms may have been their electoral coming-out party as they proved the chief break on the predicted Republican wave. While married men and women as well as unmarried men broke for the GOP, CNN exit polls found that 68% of unmarried women voted for Democrats.

The Supreme Court’s August decision overturning Roe v. Wade was certainly a special factor in the midterms, but longer-term trends show that single, childless women are joining African Americans as the Democrats’ most reliable supporters.

Their power is growing thanks to the demographic winds.

The (Link): number of never married women has grown from about 20% in 1950 to over 30% in 2022, while the percentage of married women has declined from almost 70% in 1950 to under 50% today.

Overall, the percentage of (Link): married households with children has declined from 37% in 1976 to 21% today.

A (Link): new Institute for Family Studies analysis  of 2020 Census data found that one in six women do not have children by the time they reach the end of their childbearing years, up from one in ten in 1990.

Single adult women now total some (Link): 42 million, comparable to the key African American voting bloc (46 million), while vastly larger than key groups like labor union members (14 million) or college students (20 million).

A Husband and Father Died on Thanksgiving After Flames Burst Over His Body When Hospital Staff Used Defibrillator Paddles – Wife Relied on Dead Husband’s Social Security

A Husband and Father Died on Thanksgiving After Flames Burst Over His Body When Hospital Staff Used Defibrillator Paddles   – Wife Relied on Dead Husband’s Social Security

Being married and a father didn’t save this guy.

His wife is now alone again. Marriage didn’t ultimately make her happy or protect her from loss and stress.

Also, Complementarian Christians and anti-Feminist conservatives are in error to brainwash women into thinking they can or should always count on a husband to rescue them, pay their way, etc, because what happens if that married woman doesn’t have a career of her own, no savings, and her husband dies, and she was relying on his income or social security (as was the case here)?

I am a conservative, I’ve never been a feminist, but, I also do not buy into the usual sexist, backwards propaganda other conservatives push on to women about marriage and motherhood, either.

Other conservatives think the way to ‘own the libs’ on these issues is to stupidly go in the 180 degree (opposite) direction of neo-marxist, anti-motherhood feminist, and progressive views,
and then “double down” even more on marriage, natalism, and motherhood.

They’re actually creating more problems than they’re solving with that approach, but that is their comfort zone, and they seem determined to stick to it.

This woman, if she had a career of her own and savings, might not have fallen into this situation.
And Christian Patriarchists and Complementarians actually double down on this faulty approach of advising or pressuring women to be nothing but stay at home wives and mothers, leaving them with possibly no fall-back income by which to pay their bills, if their husband dies or leaves them.
It’s very unwise advice or an unwise way to approach life.

    • A Tennessee man died after he caught on fire while hospital staff used a defibrillator on him.
    • The man’s wife was in the room when her husband caught ablaze, telling WKRN that “it just blew up.”
    • The hospital system said they are reviewing the “functionality of equipment” following the incident.

A father died in Tennessee on Thanksgiving day after he caught on fire as hospital staff attempted to use a defibrillator on him.

Bobby Ray Stark was bedridden for seven years and relied on his wife of 35 years, Kathy Stark, for care, according to WKRN. He went to the hospital for a foot infection and bed sores last month was later transferred to TriStar Centennial, where he coded and staff tried to revive him with a defibrillator, Kathy told the outlet.

“Then they started the paddles, and it just blew up, everything,” Kathy told WKRN. “I saw that, and I just burst out.”

Kathy told the outlet that she watched the flames cover her husband’s body.

Woman Allegedly Drowns 93-Year-Old Grandmother in Kitchen Sink, Bathtub to Dodge Nursing Home Bills

Woman Allegedly Drowns 93-Year-Old Grandmother in Kitchen Sink, Bathtub to Dodge Nursing Home Bills

Who will take care of you when you get old? Your children? Your grandchildren? Don’t be ridiculous, they won’t visit you in the nursing home, let alone take care of you, and some of them, like the granddaughter below, may drown you.

How about those Family Values, huh?

I can imagine if you’re a conservative who is new to my blog here, you may at first glance assume I’m a nuclear family hating liberal, when in reality, I am not opposed to the nuclear family, I’m a conservative,
but boy, do I ever see a lot of news headlines over the years that blows a hole in the conservative propaganda that marriage, parenthood, and the nuclear family will repair a sick culture, or that marriage and parenthood can make a person more godly, mature, loving, or ethical.

Being a part of a nuclear family sure as heck didn’t make this woman more loving or godly.
She killed her own grandmother – who was a great person by her own admission – because she didn’t want to raise the funds to put grandma in a nursing home at doctor’s advisement.

Killing grandma to save a buck. Lord Jesus. RIP to the grandmother.

An Ohio woman allegedly drowned her grandmother the day after the 93-year-old was told she needed to be placed in a nursing home, according to reports.

Granddaughter Heidi Matheny, of Eaton, is reportedly facing a murder charge after she confessed to the twisted crime that ended Alice Matheny’s life Tuesday.

“According to the confession, she was just tired of taking care of a grandmother,” Eaton Police Division Chief Steven Hurd said, according to WDTN.

The granddaughter was worried that she could not afford the cost of the nursing home and insurance would not pick up the tab, according to a police report obtained by the television station.

American Conservatives, Including Men, are Celebrating the First Female Prime Minister of Italy, But Some of These Same Guys Complain about American Women Having the Right to Vote

American Conservatives, Including Men, are Celebrating the First Female Prime Minister of Italy, But Some of These Same Guys Complain about American Women Having the Right to Vote

Today, I’ve seen headlines go through my Twitter about a woman, Giorgia Meloni, who will be Italy’s first woman Prime Minister – liberal media the world over are disturbed, because Meloni is a conservative.

The reaction of conservative, American men on Twitter has been to take joy in pointing out the hypocrisy of progressive and liberal media or persons for either expressing horror at Meloni’s position or for them not publicizing it or celebrating it at all.

While I agree that yes, liberals and progressives are complete hypocrites about sexism – they will not support conservative women at all – I can’t help but notice the male (and sometimes female) conservative hypocrisy and double standard at play too.

To this day, both conservatives AND progressives lambast (white) women for how they vote in American politics and I’ve see male conservatives even imply they do not believe American women should have the right to vote.

Liberal Author Says the Family Unit is ‘A Terrible Way to Satisfy … Love and Care,’ Calls to Abolish It – The Pros and Cons of Her View

Liberal Author Says the Family Unit is ‘A Terrible Way to Satisfy … Love and Care,’ Calls to Abolish It – The Pros and Cons of Her View

Well, I am a conservative, and I am not “anti Nuclear Family,” so I cannot say I agree with the idea of abolishing The Nuclear Family.

On the other hand, as I’ve stated numerous times on this blog, married couples have been shown in studies to be too self-absorbed (they meet all the needs of their spouse and kids while not extending help or care to those outside their nuclear family, and the Bible itself notes in 1 Corinthians 7 that married people are more concerned with meeting the needs of their spouse than in doing God’s work).

Too many conservatives place too much emphasis on the Nuclear Family, especially religious persons. The Bible simply does not command people to marry – sorry, but the one call to widows to re-marry does not establish that marriage for the never-married is a requirement, or that the command is timeless for all people – and the Bible does not say that marriage or The Family Unit will save or rescue a society.

The Bible says the problem with a nation is that each individual is a sinner before God, and the only solution to that is for the individual to put saving faith in Jesus. The Bible does not prescribe marriage and establishing the Nuclear Family as a solution.

An un-due emphasis on the “family” unnecessarily marginalizes single adults, widows, the divorced, the infertile among us – the Bible says the purest religion is to help the widow and the orphan (see James 1:27), not to minister to The Nuclear Family.

There are problems with the Nuclear Family, with conservatives turning it into a deity that they worship and place an unhealthy fixation upon (among other issues), but I also do not support communism, marxism, or eliminating the Nuclear Family.

I do not support abortion – that topic is raised below. The woman discussed below who is arguing against the Nuclear Family supports abortion; I do not.

(Link): Author Sophie Lewis’ forthcoming book is titled ‘Abolish the Family’

In a forthcoming book titled “Abolish the Family,” the author “makes the case for family abolition,” according to a book description that calls author Sophie Lewis a “leading feminist critic.”

I have additional commentary and resources below this link and report:

(Link): Liberal author says the family unit is ‘a terrible way to satisfy… love & care,’ calls to abolish it

Excerpts:

Sophie Lewis previously called for women to embrace abortion as justified killing

Sept 25, 2022
By Lindsay Kornick | Fox News

Feminist theorist and author Sophie Lewis was the subject of an article on Friday in the UK’s The New Statesman website publication following her new book “Abolish the Family.”

Historian Erin Magalaque discussed Lewis’ book which described the family unit as “a terrible way to satisfy all of our desires for love, care, nourishment” and was highly critical of suggestions otherwise.

“The family isn’t actually any good at creating intimacy, Lewis argues; the family creates, in fact, a dearth of care, with shreds and scraps of intimacy fought out between overworked parents and totally dependent kids, hidden behind the locked doors of private property,” Magalaque wrote.

Magalaque complimented Lewis’ efforts to mock what she called “inevitable knee-jerk” reactions to calls to abolish the family unit.

Tucker Carlson Has the Audacity to Blame All Women for the Actions of a Male Mass Shooter – Which is not “Based”

Tucker Carlson Has the Audacity to Blame All Women for the Actions of a Male Mass Shooter – Which is not “Based”

Robert Crimo III, the Highland Park (July 4th) mass shooter, is to blame for Robert Crimo III’s actions.

One can possibly argue Crimo’s parents played a role in matters, as they helped him obtain one or  more of his weapons. But in the end scheme of things, Crimo is responsible for Crimo’s choices and Crimo’s actions.

The fact remains that women are not to blame for Robert Crimo III’s shooting spree, where he killed seven individuals at a July 4th (Independence Day holiday, 2022) parade in Illinois.

Contrary to what some liberals have been saying, who’ve been claiming that Crimo was a “MAGA supporter,”
it is not clear at this time what Crimo’s political beliefs are (he was photographed at a Trump rally, but some were saying he mocked Trump supporters, that he was not showing up to the rally to support Trump),
nor is it clear if any political views motivated his shooting spree.

Others found that Crimo followed a lot of Democrats on his social media and voiced some support for Democrat or progressive views. sexismNotBased_Removed

I will include either tweets with videos of the Tucker Carlson segment under discussion and/or embed much farther below, videos from You Tube, where you can see and hear for yourself Carlson blaming not only women for Crimo’s actions, but also, weirdly, video games and several other factors.

Please note that some of the videos or tweets I embed in this post may not necessarily be from sources I agree with on every point. It’s usually left-leaning content providers who will hold guys like Carlson accountable for his unhinged, unfounded sexist comments against women.

I’m a conservative, but I rarely see other conservatives calling out sexism when it’s bandied about by other conservatives.

I have never identified as a feminist, but I do not blame all feminists or feminism for the July 4th shooting.

Story Background / Summaries

Here’s some background and/or descriptions about the situation:

(Link): Tucker Finds a Way to Blame Women for Young Male Mass Shootings

July 5, 2022
by William Vaillancourt

On the heels of yet another mass shooting, Tucker Carlson identified what he believes to be one contributing factor in young men using firearms on innocent bystanders: women “lecturing” them about “their so-called privilege.”

Carlson opened his Tuesday show discussing the shooting at a Fourth of July parade in Highland Park, Illinois, allegedly by 21-year-old Robert “Bobby” Crimo.

The Fox News host mentioned how authorities said Crimo had appeared on their radar twice before: in April 2019 after a suicide attempt and a few months later after he threatened to “kill everyone” in his immediate family.

After the second incident, police confiscated knives, a dagger, and a sword from his home. No complaint was filed, and no arrest was made.

[Carlson said:]
“And yet the authorities in their [the male mass shooters] lives—mostly women—never stop lecturing them about their so-called privilege. ‘You’re male, you’re privileged.’” Carlson imitated. “Imagine that. Try to imagine an unhealthier, unhappier life than that. So a lot of young men in America are going nuts. Are you surprised?”

No Motive Given As of July 12, But Tucker, Without Evidence, Listed Motives on July 5

It’s dishonest and inaccurate for Tucker Carlson or any other conservative to blame women as a group or feminism or feminists for the shooting.

As to the date of me composing this post – July 12, 2022 – I have not yet seen a motive for the shooting.

Crimo did not mention that “women in authority” drove him to shoot a group of people.

As far as motive, what we do have is this (from July 6, 2022):

Authorities would not go into Crimo’s possible motive but did acknowledge he “had an affinity for the numbers 4 and 7” — which, when reversed, point to the date he carried out the massacre. (Source)

(Link): Robert ‘Bobby’ Crimo III’s friends’ mother details how he spiraled into madness

Excerpts:

from Marca:

Robert ‘Bobby’ Crimo III’s life before the Highland Park mass shooting on July 4 took the lives of 7 people keeps offering more insight into the motive of this crime.

One of Crimo’s friends’ mother spoke to the folks at The Daily Beast in detail about the murderer.

She doesn’t recognize him from the past, she knew a kid who was normal like her own children but slowly fell down a negative spiral due to neglect from his entire family.

What is currently being denied by his parents are the multiple suicide attempts that Crimo III had throughout the years. Since 2015, there had been several red flags raised where this concerned mother of an unspecified name confirms she attempted to stop. Her initial reaction was to reach out to the kid’s parents when he threatened to overdose, but she was ignored.

[the friends’ mother said]…
“But he [Robert Crimo III] hurt. He was very, very much a loner and depressed. And I think his emotional instability was kind of brushed under the rug by his family. I think there’s a lot of balls dropped, no matter which way you look at it.
— end excerpts —-

There is nothing in there about “feminism” or all women being the triggers that pushed this idiot kid into killing several people. If anything, he sounds like he is emotionally disturbed, and the parents didn’t get him the mental health help he needed.

From an article dated November 1, 2022:

(Link): Prosecutors In Highland Park Mass Shooting Trial Turn Over Discovery

Excerpt:

Nov 1, 2022
by Jonah Meadows

But authorities have not offered any theories on his motive for the shooting.
— end excerpt —

And there you have it, as of November 2022, still no motive is being given for Crimo’s actions.

Sept 7, 2022 edit:

Even if Crimo were to issue a statement to police tomorrow that he hates women and believes that “women in authority” drove him to shoot and kill several people, that still does not mean that he would be correct, that women are culpable, or that police would magically say,

“Why, you’re right! Women are such nags! It’s totally fine that you felt so nagged by women that you murdered seven people. We will set you free instantly, with no charges pressed, you poor, dear victim  you!”

A lot of liberal women have said for years that conservatives or Republicans are waging a “war against women,” and while I think that rhetoric is fairly untrue (though some conservatives and Republicans do, regrettably, adhere to sexist beliefs),
it sure does not help to dispel liberal paranoia about the extent of conservative (or Republican) sexism when a conservative talk host like Tucker Carlson unjustly accuses women as a group (and without citing any evidence) as being to blame for the actions of a male mass shooter.

Fox Cable News Promotes Transgenderism – Which Ticked Off or Alarmed Some People – But Why Are Some, Such as Matt Walsh, Ben Shapiro, and Other Daily Wire Writers Speaking Out About It?

Fox Cable News Promotes Transgenderism – Which Ticked Off or Alarmed Some People – But Why Are Some, Such as Matt Walsh, Ben Shapiro, and Other Daily Wire Writers Speaking Out About It?

This post has been edited after publication to add more content

I do watch a lot of Fox cable news (though I do not always agree with every opinion of every speaker on Fox, and in that caveat, I include their conservative reporters and editorialists, even though I am a conservative), I did not see this segment myself that I am mentioning in this post – I’ve only seen a few moments of it from other people’s copies of it online, and I’ve read commentaries about it.

The segment aired around June 13, 2022 on one of Fox’s national morning shows, one hosted by Dana Perino, I believe. Fox News with Rainbow Logo

Not only is Fox News acting weird lately (or for the past few years), but so too are other sites or news outlets considered to be centrist to conservative, such as Daily Wire (owned by Ben Shapiro), which is (Link): now promoting homosexual marriage and homosexual men hiring surrogates to give them babies.

The segment, which was aired on Fox’s national cable news station, was also repeated (or another, similar interview with the same family) was aired on a local Fox station, and it was uploaded to (Link): You Tube here (4.16 minutes long), if you’d like to see it.

Not only that, but during June 2022, Fox cable news was airing “pro pride month” type commercials, complete with rainbow colors and imagery. (I cannot recall if, prior to 2022, Fox has run “pride month” commercials in past years.)

I do not hate homosexual people. However, it’s not a conservative (or biblical) stance to promote or endorse homosexual marriage or homosexual behavior, so no. No, Fox. No, liberals. No, progressives.

It’s not okay for Fox cable news to air “pride month” commercials or promote other LGBT causes (specifically, other than homosexual marriage, children undergoing transition).

A few months ago, Fox News also hired Caitlyn Jenner, a biological man (formerly Bruce) to be a commentator on this programming.

Jenner is a conservative, and that’s fine so far as it goes, but it’s strange that a network whose night time opinion hosts, such as Tucker Carlson, who speak out against the trans agenda, are, on the other hand, supporting the trans agenda when adults are involved.

Not only are children negatively impacted by the trans agenda, but so too are adult biological women, so it’s improper to sit there and say, “Well, what adults choose to do is fine, but I draw the line when children are involved.”

The trans-agenda is negatively impacting grown women too, not just children.

(Link): Fox News’ shameful promotion of transgender horrors

Excerpts:

June 14, 2022

Fox News’ shameful promotion of the trans-ing of a child in a purportedly family-friendly light in celebration of pride month has outraged its viewers, many of whom are Christian.

“America’s Newsroom” host Dana Perino last Friday introduced viewers to a California family and their trans-identifying teenager, a girl claiming to be a boy named Ryland.

Fox correspondent Bryan Llenas featured their story, saying trans issues are being “politicized” and that “people are afraid of what they do not understand.”

This particular family claims to be both Christian and conservative and wanted to inspire others with their journey of accepting their trans-identified child, who reportedly started showing signs of gender confusion at a very young age.

Having diligently covered these issues for over five years at The Christian Post, the manipulation was hard for me to stomach. Anyone who has been paying attention to these issues has come to expect this kind of deception from legacy media but it was stunning to see it on Fox News.

Excerpt:

For the last handful of years, no one’s been under the impression that Fox News is particularly conservative. But at least it was reasonable, many thought.

After Friday’s glowing endorsement of transgenderism, the benefits of those doubts are gone. “What extraordinary courage displayed by Ryland [Whittington],” the hosts gushed, as pictures of an adorable little girl faded into the present, where a 14-year-old boyish face filled the screen.

A recent Fox News segment about a trans-identified child has sparked shock and outrage among many conservatives.

Christian Post senior investigative reporter Brandon Showalter breaks down what unfolded, why he was “appalled” by Fox’s handling of the segment — and why he believes the medicalized gender transition of children is “one of the greatest medical scandals the world has ever seen.”

Multiple conservative commentators are criticizing Fox News after the nation’s leading conservative news network aired a favorable profile of a trans-identified child during “pride month.”

On Friday, Fox News’ “America Newsroom” featured a report from correspondent Bryan Llenas about Ryland Whittington, a trans-identified 14-year-old girl living in California.

A graphic reading “America Together: Celebrating Diversity” plugging “LGBTQ+ Pride Month” prefaced the report. As noted by co-host Dana Perino, Whittington’s “story about transitioning at age 5 has been seen by 7 million people in a family YouTube video” published eight years ago.

The GOP should surrender once again, this time on the rainbow flag

June 28, 2022

[The author begins by describing the changes to the homosexual “Pride” flag, which began with the colors of the rainbow, but which has been changed the last year or two by progressives to include design elements to reflect Transgender persons and other sexualities. The author says that his town is flying the old-school, traditional “Pride” rainbow flag on main street, rather than the updated version of the flag with the Trans colors, etc, in it.]

… What’s infinitely more likely, though, is that gays and lesbians have been passé since Obergefell v. Hodges was decided in 2015. Most of the left’s talking points now revolve almost exclusively around blacks and transsexuals. It’s an attempt to represent the whole progressivist movement in a single banner. That’s what “intersectionality” means. Black is queer, and queer is black.

… Couldn’t it be argued that anyone flying an old rainbow flag in 2022 is dog-whistling to the far-right?prideFlag - Copy

The old rainbow flag has essentially become a reactionary symbol. What if the Republican Party claimed it as its own?

Conservative Site Daily Wire Oddly Promoting “Gay Parenting,” and Also, I Guess, Homosexual Male Couples Using Women Surrogates for Babies?

Well this is bizarre.

Conservative site Daily Wire has homosexual now-conservative, former liberal host Dave Rubin, hosting an upcoming podcast, or whatever it is, where he and “only- correct- twice- a- day” Jordan Peterson discuss the topic, “Gay Parenting: Promise and Pitfalls.”

You can view their tweet about that interview or chat show (Link): here (it’s also embedded to the left in this post).

(Edit: July 9,2021: Daily Wire Plus since deleted the tweet.)gayParentingDailyWire

I wasn’t on Twitter a whole lot today, so I guess I missed it, but from what I’m seeing on the accounts of other conservatives, Daily Wire originally had a different tweet up promoting this Rubin – Peterson conversation, but they got such blow back from other conservatives over it that they deleted the original one to put up this newer one with different wording (I’m not sure what the original tweet said).

Upon further reading, what seems to have happened is that the same Tweet was on the regular Daily Wire account, it got heavy criticism, so it was deleted but a copy was placed on the Daily Wire PLUS Twitter account.

I’m not sure, but I believe that Daily Wire is Ben Shapiro’s organization? Isn’t he a Jewish guy?

I’m no expert on Judaism, but from what little I do know, I’m aware that some Jewish groups are super conservative, some are moderate, and some are super liberal, but Shapiro claims to be a conservative – why would a Jewish guy who believes in conservative values, or, I guess, promoting conservative hobby horses like “The Nuclear Family” be allowing this on his platform?

Months ago, in one of his videos on You Tube, Shapiro (Link): balked at this biological man (“transwoman”) breastfeeding a baby, and rightly so, but he’s fine with two men marrying one another and/or two men having a baby together via a surrogate?

I do not hate homosexual people, but I can’t say as though I endorse homosexual marriage, or two men having a baby together via a surrogate, either. To do so seems to be an anti-Nuclear Family, anti-conservative, or anti-Traditional Values stance to me.

I do recognize that homosexual marriage was made legal years ago, so I’ve learned to tolerate it, but I don’t affirm it or validate it.

So long as homosexual couples don’t try to sue or harass a Christian baker, florist, web site designer, or photographer in to providing their services for a homosexual wedding, I don’t care what homosexuals do.

The Overton Window (link to explanation about that) has shifted among some conservatives in the last several years, to the point, some of them are congratulating a homosexual married couple over having children via surrogates, and now, they’re allowing a “gay parenting” show to happen on their platform AND they’re advertising it, WTF?
That’s not conservative.

Supreme Court Overturns Roe Vs. Wade, Returns Abortion to the States

Supreme Court Overturns Roe Vs. Wade, Returns Abortion to the States

June 24, 2022

I’ve always been pro-life on abortion, and I’ve never been sexually active (one reason of many: I didn’t want to get pregnant out of wedlock), so I’m not disturbed that Roe V Wade was over-turned.

I’m not sure if abortion pills will still be allowed now, or what the legalities are of that.

Aside from saving the lives of more babies, maybe women will now stop and think more about if, when, and with whom, they have sex.

Too many feminists and liberals went from “abortion should be safe and rare” to some of these scum-buckets BRAGGING on social media about having gotten abortions. Clearly, some women began using abortion as a form of birth control, not as a last resort.

If you’re going to end the human life growing in you because you don’t want it, or you believe it conflicts with your career, you should feel a lot of regret, shame, and humility about it, not go on twitter to scream you’re “proud” of your choice – give me a break.

By the way, only women can become pregnant – not men.

“Transwomen” cannot get pregnant, so this won’t impact those clowns either way.

June 24, 202

The Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade on Friday, holding that there is no longer a federal constitutional right to an abortion.

The opinion is the most consequential Supreme Court decision in decades and will transform the landscape of women’s reproductive health in America.

Going forward, abortion rights will be determined by states, unless Congress acts.  Already, nearly half of the states have or will pass laws that ban abortion while others have enacted strict measures regulating the procedure.

… The opinion represents the culmination of a decades-long effort on the part of critics of abortion seeking to return more power to the states.  It was made possible by a solid six-member conservative majority – including three of Donald Trump’s nominees.

Christian Gender Complementarians and Far Left Woke Progressives and Transactivists – What They Have in Common

Christian Gender Complementarians and Far Left Woke Progressives and Transactivists – What They Have in Common

There are a few things Christian gender complementarians have in common with the following: the woke; progressives; social justice warriors; anti-Trumpers; exvangelicals (ex evangelicals); transactivists; critical theory advocates; BLM; Antifa, and anti-racists.

I don’t want to get into all the similarities I see among these seemingly- at- first- glance- totally- in- opposition groups, but one or two I did want to mention for now:

Both the Christian complementarians and the Progressives participate in “identity politics.” You’re not allowed to be an individual.

Complementarians divide people into the groups of “men” and “women,” and then ascribe gender stereotypes to both groups. They believe that all women are, or should be, passive, non-confrontational, and docile and enjoy crocheting tea cozies, for example.

If you’re a woman who is not passive, docile, or who does not enjoy knitting tea cozies and has no desire to do so, they either ignore you, or other types of complementarians may insult you or question your fealty to Jesus, the Bible, and the nuclear family.

The progressives, of course, put everybody into groups and then in sub-groups; the progressives will not only divide people up by biological sex, for instance, but if you are a “person of color” AND a woman, you’re now in a sub-group.

The progressives will then try to determine, via “intersectionality,” which group or sub-group is the “most” oppressed, and which ever group is deemed most victimized gets all the cookies (devotion, protection, attention, energy).

Members of these groups, who are declared to be most marginalized, are given carte blanche permission by woke liberals to treat other groups terribly, and to stomp all over other groups’ needs, rights, and concerns (one example of this on my blog).

Women Are Not Allowed to Have Their Own Opinions On Either Side, Christian Complementarian OR Progressive

Christian gender complementarians and woke, far left liberals (including transactivists, BLM supporters, and even a lot of progressive Exvangelical, anti-Trump persons, and some abuse survivor advocates) all have the distasteful, unfortunate habit of pressuring women to think a certain way.

All those groups also tend to guilt trip women or shame them when they won’t cave in to the pressure, and they also advise – more like command and dictate! – women to “let this group do your thinking for you. You are not allowed to question the group or its assumptions or opinions. You are not allowed to have or hold a dissenting view from that of the group.”

Women Who Disagree With Christian Gender Complementarianism

If you’re a woman who doesn’t agree with Christian gender complementarianism (or Christian patriarchy, which is essentially the same thing as complementarianism, but usually more severe),
complementarian men (and some of the women) in those belief sets will accuse you of being a liberal, a feminist, and/or a Democrat and will sometimes also accuse you of hating babies, men, meritocracy, due process, or the nuclear family.

The more crude, overtly sexist ones will also suggest on occasion you are “trying to be like a man,” you are “too old, past your expiration date,” you own 47 pet cats, and you never shave your legs.

Women Who Disagree With Progressives or Any Progressive View or Behavior

If you’re a woman who doesn’t agree with progressives on, well, any of their socio-political views (CRT, pro-choice, BLM, transactivism, etc), they will accuse you of being bigoted, racist, homophobic, transphobic, and/or of possessing “Internalized Misogyny,” and they’re rarely civil in how they express those views.
(This is, laughably and remarkably, after they stress repeatedly, especially in their online communities, how, unlike Trump voters and evangelical Christians, how tolerant and loving they are.)

The Nuclear Family Has Failed – by Yoram Hazony – Re: How the Formerly Extended, “Traditional” Family Was Better for Individuals and Societies

The Nuclear Family Has Failed – by Yoram Hazony – Re: How the Formerly Extended, “Traditional” Family Was Better for Individuals and Societies

Excerpts:
May 13, 2022

When people talk about the structure of the family, they often find themselves arguing for or against the “nuclear family”, which consists, on most tellings, of a father and mother, with perhaps two or three children in their care for the first 18 years of their lives.

These children are then supposed to leave the house, move somewhere far away, and make nuclear families of their own.

Contemporary conservatives are especially inclined to embrace this image of the family, although it is not entirely clear why.

The “nuclear family” is not the same as the traditional Christian or Jewish family that existed before the two World Wars. On the contrary, the nuclear family is closer to being an invention of industrialisation and the 20th century.

And there are good reasons to think that this form of family is, in fact, a failed experiment, one that has done immeasurable harm to almost everyone: to women and men, children and grandparents.

The time has come for us to consider retiring the ideal of the nuclear family, and replacing it with something that looks more like the family of Christian and Jewish tradition.

What is the traditional family?
