Transgender Sex Worker Who Infected Client With HIV Fights Deportation

Transgender Sex Worker Who Infected Client With HIV Fights Deportation

There can definitely be some advantages to being a celibate and conservative adult… like not picking up sexually transmitted infections and diseases from transgender prostitutes, for example.

A transgender sex worker who was jailed for infecting a client with HIV is fighting to stop being permanently deported to New Zealand.

CJ Palmer was convicted in the Western Australia District Court in 2018 of one count of grievous bodily harm in relation to having sex with a client.

The man was infected with HIV in the encounter despite Ms. Palmer knowing she was HIV positive.

Oral Sex is Fueling an ‘Epidemic’ of Throat Cancers in the US and UK, Doctor Claims

Oral Sex is Fueling an ‘Epidemic’ of Throat Cancers in the US and UK, Doctor Claims

Looks like avoiding any and all sex acts can be a wise move!

Funny how so many people in culture think that telling someone “they’re a virgin” or an “incel” (someone not having sex) is the biggest insult ever, when the people having sex all over the place are getting STIs.

by Luke Andrews

The US and UK are suffering a throat cancer ‘epidemic’ — and experts point to oral sex as the culprit.

Dr Hisham Mehanna, from the UK’s University of Birmingham, said 70 percent of cases of throat cancer are caused by human papillomavirus (HPV), a normally harmless virus that is spread sexually and has been linked to multiple forms of cancers.

Dr Mehanna said people with multiple oral sex partners have an up to nine-fold increased risk of throat cancer.

Dr Mehanna wrote in The Conversation: ‘Over the past two decades, there has been a rapid increase in throat cancer in the west, to the extent that some have called it an epidemic.

‘This has been due to a large rise in a specific type of throat cancer called oropharyngeal cancer.’

Oropharyngeal cancer is the most common type of throat cancer. It appears in the tonsils and back of the throat.

Sex in Your 50s… Has the Rise of Mid-Life Dating Triggered a New Epidemic of Post-Coital Problems in Older Women?

Sex in Your 50s… Has the Rise of Mid-Life Dating Triggered a New Epidemic of Post-Coital Problems in Older Women?

Has the Rise of Mid-Life Dating Triggered a New Epidemic of Sexual Problems?

The article below is sex British-based, so I am unsure if all the products listed are available to Americans or others outside of Britain.

I don’t necessarily endorse sex outside of marriage – the doctor who wrote this is fine and dandy with people committing fornication.

After reading articles like the following, which discuss all the possible (health) ways sex can go wrong (lead to pain, discomfort, physical injury, etc), I don’t think sex sounds like it’s worth it. Sex sounds like more trouble than it’s worth.

This is an extremely long article. If you’d like to read it all, please use the link below:

(Link): Sex in your 50s… Has the rise of mid-life dating triggered a new epidemic of post-coital problems with one-in-three older woman suffering pain related to intimate liaisons?

Excerpts:

By Dr. Philippa Kaye
February 15, 2023

[The article beings by discussing a woman in her 60s named Anne who had only ever had sex with her husband, but he and she divorced a few years before, her daughters got her to join a dating app, she met a new man via the app, had sex with that guy, which resulted in physical health issues]

…I had to break it to Anne that as we age, while the spirit might be willing, the body, so to speak, isn’t always so up for new romance.

Sex after the menopause can continue to be enjoyable.

But, to put it bluntly, changes to the vagina mean that, for some women, this doesn’t come as naturally as they may have hoped. Without a small amount of medical help, sex can lead to discomfort, bleeding and infections.

I’d like to say at this point that patients like Anne are not unusual.

As our surgery’s women’s health specialist, cases like this often come to me, and over the past five years or so they’ve been increasingly frequent.

Divorce, desertion or the death of a partner all mean the same thing: people in middle age find themselves newly single.

And the rise of online and app-based dating services, while fantastic in many respects, has meant problems such as Anne’s are increasingly common.

… And if you are having a tough time becoming sexually active again with a new partner – or even struggling with a not-so-new one – there’s actually a lot GPs can do to help. Painful sex is not something you have to put up with.

Two cases of a worrisome new strain of gonorrhea that’s proven resistant to antibiotics have been discovered, according to Massachusetts health officials.

While both patients improved after being treated with ceftriaxone, the most common antibiotic used to treat the condition, the infections showed resistance to nearly all standard gonorrhea drugs.

The cases, they said, are the first confirmed instances in the US.

Two cases of a novel strain of gonorrhea, a sexually transmitted disease, have been found, health officials in Massachusetts say.

Even though the patients improved once doctors treated them with ceftriaxone, the infections presented resistance to almost all medicines used to fight the disease, the New York Post reported Friday.

…Gonorrhea is a sexually transmitted disease (STD) individuals can contract from engaging in sex with an infected person, according to WebMD.

Two cases of a novel strain of gonorrhea that is resistant to a wide variety of antibiotics were reported by Massachusetts health officials on Thursday. These are the first cases of “concerning gonorrhea strain” reported in the US.

“The Department of Public Health (DPH) today announced it has detected a novel strain of gonorrhea in a Massachusetts resident that showed reduced response to multiple antibiotics and another case with genetic markers that indicate a similar drug response,” DPH said in a statement.

Patients were successfully cured after receiving ceftriaxone treatment, the currently recommended antibiotic. However, the new strain of gonorrhea was resistant to a variety of antibiotics.

A dog in Paris has caught monkeypox after sharing the bed with its gay owners who were infected with the disease.

The two Parisians developed symptoms at the beginning of June before they developed the lesions showing a monkeypox infection.

The two men aged 44 and 27, who live together in a non-monogamous relationship, developed sores a week after having sex with other men.

They went to the Pitié-Salpêtrière Hospital in Paris with their symptoms after twelve days — but there was one patient the doctors had forgotten about.

Their Italian greyhound had also developed ulcerations and pustules on its stomach.

A PCR test confirmed the canine had also come down with monkeypox, confirming the first case of a domestic pet contracting the virus.

Further genetic sequencing showed the strain of the disease was an identical match with the disease that had infected its owners.

The 44-year-old, a Latino, lived with HIV – according to The Lancet Journal –  was in a ‘non-exclusive’ relationship with his partner, who was HIV negative.

The disease is often spread through prolonged close contact with the monkeypox lesions.

An out-of-state man visiting Dallas likely spread monkeypox when he visited a gay bathhouse, health officials said.

The unidentified man visited Club Dallas, a private men’s sauna where according to the club’s website patrons can “socialize in one of our lounges or enjoy a video in your private dressing room” from June 22 through 25.

The man was infectious during that time and has a confirmed case of monkeypox, the Dallas Health Department said.

During his stay, the man had sex with multiple partners, the health department said.

Warning to ABSTAIN From Sex As MonkeyPox Cases Jump 70% – Monkeypox Spreading Primarily Through (Homosexual) Sex

~Post Updated Below, June 3, 2022~

I just saw some news headlines the other day that say that this Monkeypox virus spreads more or faster among homosexual sex acts. I’ll have to link to those headlines later – some of them were in articles on The Atlantic (I already embedded the Atlantic tweets below, way below under the “Related Links” section).

It pays to be celibate! When you’re not having sex with other people, you avoid most of this type of thing.

People use celibacy or virginity as insults to shame people over, as if to say, if you’re a virgin over the age of 18, or you’re sexually abstaining, you may get insulted  by some in various cultures for supposedly being a loser of sorts, or being pathetic. There’s nothing loser or pathetic about avoiding Monkeypox, genital warts, genital crabs, and all sorts of other diseases.

Another 71 cases of monkeypox have been identified in England over the weekend bringing the UK total to 179, the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) says.

New guidance is advising anyone with the virus to abstain from sex while they have symptoms.

They are also told to use condoms for eight weeks after an infection as a precaution.

The risk to the population is low, but people should be alert to new rashes or lesions, the UKHSA says.

… Anyone with a confirmed infection is now being advised to abstain from sex while they have symptoms.

The guidance says that while there is currently no available evidence that monkeypox can be spread in sexual fluids, people confirmed to have the virus are advised to use condoms for eight weeks after infection as a precaution.

by Dawn Kopecki
May 23, 2022

An outbreak of the monkeypox virus in North America and Europe is primarily spreading through sex among men with about 200 confirmed and suspected cases across at least a dozen countries, World Health Organization officials said Monday.

The outbreak has quickly advanced across Europe and North America over the last week and is expected to be far more widespread as more doctors look for the signs and symptoms.

Two confirmed and one suspected case of monkeypox in the U.K. were reported to the WHO just 10 days ago, the first cases this year outside of Africa where the virus has generally circulated at low levels over the last 40 years, the organization said.

…While the virus itself is not a sexually transmitted infection, which are generally spread through semen and vaginal fluids, the most recent surge in cases appears to have been spread among men who have sex with other men, WHO officials said, emphasizing that anyone can contract monkeypox.

My Date Had A Toilet Fetish – He Wanted To Lick Me Clean by Anonymous

My Date Had A Toilet Fetish – He Wanted To Lick Me Clean by Anonymous

🧻🚽🪠

This is one of the grossest things I’ve ever read.

Aside from the grossness – the fact that the guy did get overly familiar too fast is a huge red flag.

If you want to avoid weirdos and narcissists as much as possible, take any new relationship slowly (narcissists in particular love to speed things up and pressure you for commitment right away, as do some non-narcissistic abusive and controlling men – they might seriously discuss marriage on a very first date (saying already they can picture the two of you together, married) or propose marriage by the second date, or whatever. Red Flag!)

Getting back to the grossness – this man she didn’t know well tells her he has a “toilet fetish.” messyToilet

He wanted to use his tongue to clean her private area, including, it seems, the area around her anus , after she used the bathroom.

Aside from just being weird and gross, that’s a good way of getting diseases and becoming ill. If there’s any fecal matter in the area, that is loaded with bacteria, and if you ingest it, it can make you very sick (more info here).

The following story gets more and more off kilter the more it goes on:

Signing up for online dating was a big deal for me.

Coming out of an abusive relationship had left me too scared to be intimate with anyone and so I remained single for many years. But, after a decade, I finally felt ready to dip my toe back into the dating pond again.

Setting up a profile on a couple of dating sites, I went on a few boring dates.

There was, however, one guy who seemed different. His messages were almost poetic. He seemed thoughtful, considerate, and gentle.

[She and the guy began contacting each other, and the guy came on too strong too fast]

We didn’t know each other. How on earth could he ‘shine’ for me?!

The next day more texts came, expressing how excited he was to meet me. He knew I was ‘the one!’ I was baffled.

Atheist Video About Being a Virgin or Sexually Abstinent – My Critique of the Atheist’s Critique

Atheist Video About Being a Virgin of Sexually Abstinent – My Critique of the Atheist’s Critique

When I am on You Tube, I seldom seek out videos about marriage, sex, dating, or singleness.

When I do visit You Tube, I normally seek out subject matter such as movie reviews and cute animal videos, but this video by “Paulogia” was bumped to the top of my ‘suggested videos to watch’ list by You Tube, so I decided to take a look.

I actually do not enjoy reading or watching content by people who are critical of ‘virginity- until- marriage,’  or who pick apart and criticize Christian teachings about sex. I find these types of things tedious, insulting, and annoying, depending on their take.

In this video, the atheist, Paul of “Paulogia” on You Tube, has a woman co-host in the video with him (I suppose she is an atheist too), Liz, where they are critiquing the video of some guy, Joe Kirby (who is a Christian), who is advocating for sexual abstinence until marriage (which is not a bad thing to advocate for, despite Liz’s seemingly sounding disdain for this).

I’ve never heard of Joe Kirby before. His You Tube page is (Link): here, “Off the Kirb Ministries”. I’ve never watched any of his videos before. All I’ve seen are the clips of the one Kirby video in the Paulogia video.

Okay, yes, as I watched more of the video, Paul says that Liz is an ex-Christian who gives sex advice on her You Tube channel (more about this below). videoScreenCap

Off to the side, you can see a screen capture I made from part of the video where a cartoon Liz, with a cartoon Paul, are watching Kirby’s (who doesn’t appear as a cartoon) video.  Watching cartoon talking heads discuss sexual mores was strange

Here is the video in question to which I refer:

(Link, You Tube, 13.30 long video): If You’re Still a Virgin – You MUST See This! feat. Liz LaPoint) (Off the Kirb response)

This video will also be placed within this post at or near the bottom of this post

As I’ve said before on this blog, in earlier blog posts going back years, while conservative Christians and secular social conservatives have, on occasion, erred in regards to their beliefs and teachings about sex, dating, and marriage (I’ve done many critiques about their views, see the section below under “Related Posts on this Blog” for a few samples) your Non-Christians (including atheists, progressive feminists, and so on), are also in error on different points.

Sometimes obnoxiously so.

Secular Sex Ed Failures, Secular Sexual and Biological Ignorance

Secular Sex Ed Failures, Secular Sexual and Biological Ignorance

Are you counting on secular sources to educate you properly on sex, biology, anatomy, or puberty? Are you counting on secular sources to even address a possible (negative) psychological and emotional consequence of having sex when you’re not truly ready, or don’t want to do it, but feel shamed or guilted by a date or culture, into having sex? Ha ha, well, good luck with that!

Not only do some Non-Christians hold false or weird ideas about sex themselves, but some Non-Christians like to portray all or most Christians as having false, shaming, or weird ideas about sex.

As someone who has followed a lot of Non-Christian, feminist social media accounts or who has dropped by their magazine sites to read their articles about sex, men, and sexism in the last several years, one recurrent theme that shows up is how ignorant teen boys and men in their 20s (and sometimes older men) are about sex.

I should maybe do a post about that later.

But the fact is, a lot of Non-Christian men, who are being raised in secular culture, some of whom have who even been exposed to secular sex education teachings in public school, have NO IDEA how a woman’s body works.

A lot of these Non-Christian men hold all sorts of false, bonkers ideas of how  menstrual periods work, or how a woman can get pregnant, for example, which shocks the secular, feminist women writers.

There are secular, liberal feminists who mock this secular, male ignorance all the time on their sites.

You can probably google to find examples of it. Maybe I will make a post about it later. I’ve seen a lot of it over the years.

Sexual Abstinence is, in fact, one way to totally avoid contracting STIs, sorry to inform the critics of Christian sexual ethics, or the high school kids in some of the quotes below on the BuzzFeed site, who lament that their sex ed teachings advised them (accurately!) that sexual abstinence is the safest bet.

There is no form of artificial birth control that is 100% effective. Condoms are cited as being 98% effective, but what if you’re in on that two percent failure rate?

Some forms of sexual acts, such as anal sex (which (Link): some secular teen magazines have been promoting in the last few years), are more liable to cause or spread disease and create physical issues.
See, for example, this SECULAR (Non-Christian) page about anal sex at WebMD, which confirms that:

(Link):  Anal Sex Safety: What to Know

Excerpt:

The lining of the anus is thinner than the vagina, and it lacks natural lubrication. That makes it much more vulnerable to tearing. Tears can allow viruses and bacteria to enter the bloodstream. This can include sexually transmitted infections, such as HIV.

Studies have suggested that anal exposure to HIV poses 30 times more risk for the receptive partner than vaginal exposure.

Anal intercourse can also boost the risk of getting the human papillomavirus (HPV).

HPV may also lead to the development of anal warts and anal cancer. Using lubricants can help, but it doesn’t completely prevent tearing.

The tissue inside the anus is not as well-protected as the skin outside the anus. Our external tissue has layers of dead cells that serve as a protective barrier against infection. The tissue inside the anus doesn’t have this natural protection, which leaves it vulnerable to tearing and the spread of infection.

The anus was designed to hold in feces. The anus is surrounded with a ring-like muscle, called the anal sphincter, which tightens after we have a bowel movement. When the muscle is tight, anal penetration can be painful and difficult.

Repetitive anal sex may weaken the anal sphincter, making it difficult to hold in feces until you can get to the toilet. Kegel exercises to strengthen the sphincter may help prevent this problem or correct it.

The anus is full of bacteria. Bacteria normally in the anus can potentially infect the giving partner. Having vaginal sex after anal sex can also lead to vaginal and urinary tract infections.

Let’s face it: Sex can sometimes be an uncomfortable conversation topic when you’re young. Whether your school had a teacher attempt to explain things in health class or your parents sat you down for a “birds and the bees” talk, chances are you spent a majority of the time learning about sex wishing that you were anywhere else.

But sometimes trying your best to avoid an awkward situation can actually result in a much more awkward, embarrassing situation.

Recently, Reddit user u/wilson-volleyball77 asked,

“What is one sex education fail you’ve heard/experienced?”

Here are some of the best:

1. “If you use a tampon before sex, then you’re no longer a virgin. The number of people that believe this is unbelievable.”
—u/Typical-Cantaloupe48

“When I was a freshman in high school, my dad heard me tell my mom that I needed tampons from the store, and he freaked out. He thought that you had to have sex first before being able to use them. I was only 14, and I understood all that a lot better than him.

…6. “A guy once told me he thought periods lasted a whole month.”
—u/AstroLozza

7. “I was asked this question, ‘How will you be able to pee when you have your hysterectomy?’
—u/purely_logic

“I had to tell my first girlfriend she didn’t pee out of her vagina. She didn’t know she had a urethra.”

According to NASA, no humans have ever had sex in space, but with the swift ascent of private space tourism, you can bet that humankind will soon join the 62-mile-high club.

This impending achievement, coupled with renewed efforts to populate Earth orbit, build a colony on the Moon, and travel to Mars, lay bare the urgent need for scientific research into all aspects of sex in space, a team of Canadian researchers from Concordia University and Laval University argue in a paper just published in the Journal of Sex Research.

The team, led by Simon Dubé, a Concordia University PhD candidate in psychology specializing in human sexuality, sextech, and erobotics, calls for space programs to seriously explore “space sexology,” defined as “the comprehensive scientific study of extraterrestrial intimacy and sexuality.”

Excerpts:

The United States’ inability to curb a treatable sexually transmitted disease shows the failures of a cash-strapped public health system. Increasingly, newborns are paying the price.

…Yang carries a stack of cards issued by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention that show what happens when the Treponema pallidum bacteria invades a patient’s body.

There’s a photo of an angry red sore on a penis. There’s one of a tongue, marred by mucus-lined lesions. And there’s one of a newborn baby, its belly, torso and thighs dotted in a rash, its mouth open, as if caught midcry.

It was because of the prospect of one such baby that Yang found herself walking through a homeless encampment on a blazing July day in Huron, California, an hour’s drive southwest of her office at the Fresno County Department of Public Health.

She was looking for a pregnant woman named Angelica, whose visit to a community clinic had triggered a report to the health department’s sexually transmitted disease program. Angelica had tested positive for syphilis.

If she was not treated, her baby could end up like the one in the picture or worse — there was a 40% chance the baby would die.
