The US and UK are suffering a throat cancer ‘epidemic’ — and experts point to oral sex as the culprit.

Dr Hisham Mehanna, from the UK’s University of Birmingham, said 70 percent of cases of throat cancer are caused by human papillomavirus (HPV), a normally harmless virus that is spread sexually and has been linked to multiple forms of cancers.

Dr Mehanna said people with multiple oral sex partners have an up to nine-fold increased risk of throat cancer.

Dr Mehanna wrote in The Conversation: ‘Over the past two decades, there has been a rapid increase in throat cancer in the west, to the extent that some have called it an epidemic.

‘This has been due to a large rise in a specific type of throat cancer called oropharyngeal cancer.’

Oropharyngeal cancer is the most common type of throat cancer. It appears in the tonsils and back of the throat.

A Texas man has been charged with manslaughter after confessing to choking his girlfriend to death while the pair were having sex, cops said.

Harris County sheriff’s deputies responded to an address in the 800 block of Ashland Boulevard in Channelview around 2:20 a.m. Tuesday for a medical emergency report.

Officers found 24-year-old DeJe Garett-Hillard lying unresponsive. She was rushed to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

I follow a few social media accounts whose owners lurk at Transgender forums, Reddit areas, and so on.

Most of these Transgender spaces discussed on those social media accounts are MtF (male to female – biological males – people who were born male – who want to transition to be women, mostly by wearing dresses; these would be “transwomen”).

From what I’ve seen, there is a percentage of these men (I’m not going to call them women) who want to have relationships and sex with hetero, natal men, and most of them claim in their forums that they do not divulge upfront to the men they approach in bars or over dating apps that they too are men (transwomen).

Many of these guys seem to be homosexuals – they are men who are attracted to other men. They should’ve just stayed as regular men, skipped the mascara and skirts, and tried to date other homosexual males.

Then there is a smaller percentage of these guys who seem to be hetero – they’re normally attracted to biological women, but their desperate, pathological need for validation, to be seen as a ‘real’ woman (something they will never, ever be) runs so disturbingly deep that they think the only way they can receive validation is if a straight, biological man will have sex with them, and/or date them and view them as being the same as what they call “cis” (biological) women.

Some of these trans deviants are admitting in their online spaces to one another to already having engaged in one night stands with a lot of straight men already.

Some of them get quite descriptive with all the kinky, weird sex acts they performed on the straight, biological men they fooled into having sex with them.

Two cases of a worrisome new strain of gonorrhea that’s proven resistant to antibiotics have been discovered, according to Massachusetts health officials.

While both patients improved after being treated with ceftriaxone, the most common antibiotic used to treat the condition, the infections showed resistance to nearly all standard gonorrhea drugs.

The cases, they said, are the first confirmed instances in the US.

Two cases of a novel strain of gonorrhea, a sexually transmitted disease, have been found, health officials in Massachusetts say.

Even though the patients improved once doctors treated them with ceftriaxone, the infections presented resistance to almost all medicines used to fight the disease, the New York Post reported Friday.

Two cases of a novel strain of gonorrhea that is resistant to a wide variety of antibiotics were reported by Massachusetts health officials on Thursday. These are the first cases of “concerning gonorrhea strain” reported in the US.

“The Department of Public Health (DPH) today announced it has detected a novel strain of gonorrhea in a Massachusetts resident that showed reduced response to multiple antibiotics and another case with genetic markers that indicate a similar drug response,” DPH said in a statement.

Patients were successfully cured after receiving ceftriaxone treatment, the currently recommended antibiotic. However, the new strain of gonorrhea was resistant to a variety of antibiotics.

If Mr. Dumb Dumb (I refer to the 48 year old in the news report) would’ve practiced sexual self control, he wouldn’t have felt moved to meet up with some randos for sex.

I’m having a difficult time feeling sympathy for him, and guys like him, any more than I do for the people in the news stories in the past 25 years who’ve jumped zoo fences to pet or photograph, up close, tigers or polar bears and get an arm ripped off by the animal as a result.

I do, however, have sympathy for adults who use dating sites or dating apps to meet a person for what they assume will be a normal date – dinner and a movie. Nobody expecting that should be robbed, raped, or beaten.

But these dumb-dumbs who think it’s safe, prudent, moral, or wise to meet a group of strangers for sex, nooooooo.

Police in India said a 33-year-old woman committed suicide earlier this month, haunted by trauma and grief after her partner allegedly forced her to abort 14 of their unborn babies.

The Irish Sun reports the woman from Jaitpur, Delhi, India, left a suicide note explaining the abuse that she suffered for eight years, according to police.

Police said the woman accused her partner of forcing her to take abortion drugs 14 different times while she was pregnant with their unborn babies. Allegedly, she was having an affair with the man and living separately from her husband, the report states.

A 24-year-old Wisconsin woman allegedly killed and dismembered her lover during a drug-fueled sex session — dumping his head and penis in a bucket and his legs in a crockpot.

The brunette seductress, Taylor Schabusiness, then allegedly told police they were “going to have fun trying to find all of the organs,” WBAY reported.

The mutilated victim in the ghastly crime Thursday was a 25-year-old Green Bay man whom investigators have not identified.

On Tuesday, Schabusiness made her first appearance in Brown County Court via video conference on charges of first-degree intentional homicide, mutilating a corpse and third-degree sexual assault.

As I was saying on Twitter, the older I get, and I continue to see such news stories as the one in this post, the happier I feel to be single and celibate.

I cannot believe as I grew up that the evangelical / Baptist / Protestant culture brainwashed everyone to think that being single is “second best” and being chaste over the age of 25 was “impossible” or somehow “not worth it.”

I see so many people who, as teens or adults, are not happy from having sex outside of marriage, or they get married, and they have a sexless marriage, or their spouse abuses them.

You’re ultimately not going to find healing and hope in another person (i.e., a spouse).

This news story should be another sign to Christians who keep peddling false notions about singleness, dating, sex, and marriage that sexual purity is not for singles only.

You have married people out there who think it’s acceptable to work as “sex coaches,” or open their own “only fans” accounts, or to “wife swap” (see links under “Related” below for examples).

Churches need to remind MARRIED people that sexual purity is for them as well. It’s not single adults that are falling into sexual temptations left and right, it’s married couples who are.

I don’t approve of this married woman’s “sex coach” occupation, but no, I sure don’t defend the husband stabbing her to death over it, or for whatever reasons he had.

Note that these are two married people who had a couple of children together. The pro-marriage and pro-have-children Christians and conservatives are wrong to teach (as they do) that getting married and having children will always (or even usually) make people more godly, loving, mature and ethical.

I have many more examples on my blog here that demonstrate that marriage and/or parenthood do NOT make people more ethical, responsible, godly, loving, mature, etc.
