Ed Buck, a former Democrat donor and strong supporter of Hillary Clinton, was sentenced to 30 years in federal prison on Thursday over the deaths of two young black men at his West Hollywood apartment.
Between 2017 and 2019, two black men, Gemmel Moore and Timothy Dean, mysteriously died in Ed Buck’s apartment.
Later, it was revealed that the Democrat donor had a fetish for luring young black men, many of whom were experiencing homelessness, to his residence, where he would inject them with methamphetamine and drug them with sedatives, sometimes without their consent.

Democratic donor Ed Buck, who in 2021 was convicted by a federal jury of nine felonies, including giving methamphetamine to two men who died at his West Hollywood apartment after being injected with the drug, has been sentenced to 30 years in prison, a spokesperson for the United States Attorney’s Office Central District of California said Thursday.
Buck, 67, was sentenced to 360 months, said spokesperson Ciaran McEvoy.

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Ed Buck told his neighbors that the steady stream of young Black men leaving his West Hollywood apartment were social work clients. What really happened behind closed doors, which he referred to as the “gates of hell,” was far more sinister.
The men did not need Buck’s help — they needed to be saved from him, said federal prosecutors in Los Angeles said. Some barely escaped with their lives. Two men didn’t.
