A man had to have his penis amputated after suffering a bad reaction to Viagra, it has emerged.
Over the past two years 279 men have suffered side effects after popping sildenfil pills – the umbrella term for Viagra.
On the more mild end of the spectrum, dozens of men have been left with persistent and painful erections known as priapism, and two said the little blue pill caused their noses to block.
Most seriously, 28 people have lost their lives in a 24 month period having taken sildenafil, according to the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA).
It is not clear whether the drug was the primary cause of death in any of the cases.
One man reacted so badly to the drug that his penis had to be removed, with a further two enduring banana like wonks in their manhoods.
Ten other men reported blurry vision after taking Viagra, with a further ten claiming the pill had caused heart problems, (Link): The Sun reported.
…The reported side effects of sildenafil are many and diverse.
As well as headaches , indigestion and flushed skin, some men have complained of the world becoming tinted with blue.
Others have temporarily lost their peripheral vision.
