‘Straight Pride’ March Outside Abortion Clinic Clashes with 200 Protesters – Progressives Have Created Reactive Abuse Responses from Groups They Target
If these “straight pride” guys are going to go on straight pride marches or parades, they need to defend single, celibate, hetero adults, not just the “nuclear family.”
In the past few years, progressives have so often and regularly demonized white people, heterosexuals, conservatives, and Christians (and shaming those persons for being white, hetero, conservative and/or Christian), I can now honestly see a need for things like “hetero pride” marches and so forth.
The left only has themselves to blame for this sort of thing – if they didn’t cram their views about sexuality, race, etc, so much down other people’s throats and scream and yell at anyone who disagrees that they are “white supremacists” and bigots and so on,
you wouldn’t see the affected groups go into reactive mode and hold “straight pride” parades and so on in response.
When you continually smear, pick at, demonize, and abuse someone (or an entire group of people), they may eventually respond by abusing you back.
That is where this non-stop, ‘drip- drip- drip’ of far left liberal abuse of conservatives, Christians, and other groups can lead.
Progressives, far left liberals, and Democrats are creating some of the very situations and attitudes they complain about all the time.
Edit. I just found this second link about the event… sorry, but if it’s OK for other groups to declare their “pride” at being X (whatever X is), it’s okay for heterosexuals to declare they’re “proud” of being straight.

A ‘straight pride’ march held in front of a California abortion clinic descended into violence as attendees clashed with counter-protesters and police.
The National Straight Pride Coalition touted the event as a celebration of ‘heterosexuality, masculinity, femininity, babies – born and unborn and Western straight civilization, our wonderful country and Christianity.’
…But it quickly descended into violence, as angry pro-LGBT rights groups clashed with officers deployed to maintain calm at the event.
…A large contingent of LGBTQ and pro-choice counter-protesters who took offense to the message behind the march also showed up – and violence ensued.
Skirmishes broke out between the groups, with counter-protesters draped in rainbow colored capes and holding placards that read ‘Only the struggle has won – Women’s Rights,’ ‘Fascists not welcome’ and ‘Straight Pride is Hate Pride.’
LGBTQ protesters threw bottles and, in one heated clash, swung signs on sticks at the Straight Pride members, driving them back away from the clinic toward the parking lot of a local Wendy’s.
A flash grenade or firecracker went off, igniting the bush near the abortion clinic and filling the air with white smoke.
Police in riot gear – helmets, shields and batons – arrived to drive the LGBTQ counter-protesters back and disperse the groups.
There was a brief standoff in the parking lot of the Planned Parenthood clinic in which a phalanx of police pushed up against a wall of LGBTQ protesters.

A city council meeting in Modesto, California this week turned heated as citizens, business owners and a group calling itself the National Straight Pride Coalition debated the group’s plans for a “Straight Pride” event in the city.
The city has since denied the permit, citing safety concerns and the fact that event organizer did not get insurance CBS Sacramento reports.
… In June — LGBTQ Pride Month — a group of three men applied for permission to host a “Straight Pride Parade” in Boston. The group’s permit application was approved, and the organizers have set their date for August 31, according to CBS Boston.

A march celebrating “straight pride” outside of an abortion clinic in California devolved into violence as participants clashed with more than 200 pro-LGBTQ and pro-choice counter-protesters, according to a report.
The National Straight Pride Coalition, which organized the event, held for the fourth consecutive year in Modesto on Saturday, described its cause as backing heterosexuality, the “natural nuclear family,” Western civilization, Caucasians, Christianity and nationalism.
The handful of straight pride demonstrators was joined by members of the far-right group Proud Boys outside of a Planned Parenthood building ahead of the rally’s start — and were met by counter-protesters draped in rainbow flags and waving signs reading “Fascists not welcome here,” the Modesto Bee reported.
Police officers separated the rally-goers from the opponents across the street, but physical conflict ensued when a Proud Boy attempted to bypass the cops, and counter-protesters retaliated by chucking water bottles, the Bee reported.
A firecracker reportedly went off, setting fire to a bush near the clinic and filling the scene with smoke.
…Police officers in tactical gear arrived at the assembly to disperse the crowd and clashed with the counter-protesters, firing pepper balls and bean bags.
…The demonstration appeared to be over by 1 p.m. local time, leaving McHenry Avenue littered with trash and debris from the clashes earlier in the day.
A straight pride march organized by the same group last year similarly ended in violence.
At that event, members of the Proud Boys and other supporters of the group once again clashed with counter-protesters outside of the Modesto Planned Parenthood on McHenry Avenue after about an hour of mostly avoiding each other.
